My family and I have recently moved to the Raleigh area and sadly at I am not able to accept beach sessions at this time. Thank you so much for stopping by! Summer is almost is here and if you're like me you can't wait for a little slice of warm weather! I provide my clients with a high resolution digital file package and print release rather than ordering prints through me, this is INCLUDED in the session cost.

Here are a few details about us (David & Felecia), or scroll down to learn about the photography style of Island Creek. We have a son who is so full of energy! Currently we are training him in photoshop and lightroom, he is getting promoted to editor in chief very soon. We love the beach (its where we started dating, and where I proposed) and we stroll down the shoreline several times a week.
The Cheeks opted for a sunrise family portrait session in Carolina Beach, NC- a brave choice for any family- being from the midwest so it felt more like 3am to them (#supermom and #superdad) but you would never know it! They were all chipper and so sweet! Dressed and ready to go by 5:45am we hit the sand running!
I have had the privilege of watching this incredible family grow over the last 4 years and they have grown again! Check out this adorable little man- that means three boys for the Jach family! In an effort to capture those real family moments we set up in their home for a relaxed morning of photography and newborn snuggles.
After a couple reschedules during what has been the only cold snap this winter we finally got the perfect beach portrait day on Wrightsville Beach! I love photographing multiple generations- it doesn't get much sweeter than grandparents with their grandchildren and the Beverung family was no exception.
Two weeks ago i had the pleasure of photographing some long-time friends of ours and their smart, adorable, daughter! The fall colors were in full swing at Historic Yates Mill and their were plenty of other photographers buzzing around, soaking up the beautiful early evening light. Yates Mill is one of my favorite places to shoot in the fall and winter- it's perfectly rustic and offers so much variety!
