Services
Glasson Sports Medicine specializes in comprehensive orthopedic care for active lifestyle and sports-related injuries as well as non-surgical alternatives to get you back doing what you love. Our practice is unique because it provides comprehensive care under one roof including, physician to patient consultation, X-ray, physical therapy, surgery and other cutting edge procedures.
Treatment for general orthopedic problems does not always include surgery. Steroid injections are common treatment options for pain and inflammation in any joint or tendon, as well as viscosupplementation for knee arthritis, PRP therapy, physical therapy, at-home exercises, and other pain management techniques.
Our first priority is to treat your orthopedic problems conservatively and, if at all possible, to avoid surgery. When surgery becomes necessary, our objective is to provide high-quality, safe, and affordable surgical care that will solve your orthopedic issues and return you to your pre-injury level of activity.
No matter what level athlete or fitness enthusiast you are, sports medicine can help you recover from an athletic injury and learn how to prevent the injury from happening again. Our team of talented sports medicine professionals will help you get back in the game as quickly and safely as possible, whether you're an adult, teen, or child.
Most musculoskeletal injuries can be successfully resolved conservatively with physical therapy (PT) instead of surgery. If PT alone does not resolve your issue, it may also be prescribed in conjunction with preparation for and/or rehabilitation after surgery.
When referred for physical therapy, our hands-on physical therapists will perform an evaluation and develop a treatment plan specific to your needs using exercise, modalities, and manual techniques. The focus is on teaching you how to heal yourself and get you back to activities as quickly as possible.

I went in and they took x-rays. When the doctor came in she asked me where the fracture that was on my foot was, while looking at the x-rays. She point out where it might be. She never looked at my injury.
How can you not even look at the injury and just base your opinion off of x-rays. Needs less to say, Iβm going to go and get a second opinion

I had shoulder surgery on 28 Dec 2020. Surgery went great. Dr Glasson prior to the 28th explained the surgery to me in a way that I understood. Touched on the recovery and therapy process ensuring I had a grasp of what I was in for and what the recovery process looked like. I chose to have my physical therapy at the First Colonial location. The physical therapy team of Quanita, Edmond and Amanda were absolutely fantastic. Top shelf in my book. Always felt I was a priority, as I am sure the other patients did as they were progressing through therapy on their knees and shoulders.

I went to Dr. Glasson after 2 failed attempts with Dr. Brick Campbell, and Dr. Alexander Aboka, stay away from them both. Dr. Glasson was through and well informed. She took her time with me and went over my MRI step by step showing me my problem and her recommendation. I couldn't have been more please with the whole outcome. My surgery was a success and unlock Dr. Campbell, Dr. Glasson supplied me with everything I would need for a safe, speedy and peaceful recover, when I say I'm in no pain, is truly an understatement. She picked the right meds to coincide with my body type. I had to call Dr

This doctor abandons her patients. She performed surgery on me and when that became infected she refused see me after 3 years. I have spoken to multiple friends who know other people with same experience. All good reviews are from her own office staff. I would recommend to stay away from this so called doctor.

Dr. Glasson has seen me for various issues as the years of abuse of my body have finally caught up to me. Yes, I understand that you may wait longer to see Dr. Glasson but when you see her you get her undivided attention, every question answered and you're not done till your both satisfied with the solution to your needs. I have never had a problem with her staff. I just wish my primary care physician sent an 1/8th of the time that Dr. Glasson does with me. She's an outstanding Doc and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her!
