Called to inquire about a pre-purchase inspection. He quoted me nearly DOUBLE the price of others in the area. When I informed him of this, he completely lost his cool and got extremely rude with me, then slammed the phone down.
There's this thing called, "yelp", have you heard of it? It makes businesses accountable for their behaviors. Lose the attitude and be professional. Is that too much to ask? I think not.

I mistook this location for a different business and therefore did not use Marty's services but I wanted to leave a review because he was very quick to respond to my inquiry, setting up a time and place to meet and seemed genuinely interested in my needs. He had an overall friendly and positive attitude.

Very impressed. My husband called me at work this morning and said, "my battery light just came on and I smell something burning, I'll call you back if I make it to work". Never a good phone call. Luckily he made it to his job where he parked the car, no engine fire thank goodness. The car would not start after he shut it off.
Being stuck at work without a running car he searched for a near-by mobile mechanic and found A&S. He left a message for Marty and he called back in just a few minutes.
He explained the situation over the phone and right away Marty had an idea of the problem

Just do it! A good honest mechanic who will give you a fair price, and won't try to charge you for things you don't need. Very knowledgeable and professional with great communication. He has a quick turnaround too; don't expect to leave your car with him for a week like some of the bigger shops. Has worked on my '97 Trans Am twice now and I will continue to go to him in the future.

Marty has been servicing my 08 Lexus LS460 for a couple years now. Whether it's an oil change, control arms, transmission, or a sway bar there is no other independent I would chose to deal with. I was so tired of Lexus service telling me things were wrong and Marty always broke it down in order of priority and whether the items were necessary. The LS is gone and has been replaced with a 2013 S class which Marty will be serving as well.

First let me tell you I have been using Marty For appox 5 years . I called him off of a craigslist ad(5 yrs a go ) . I was a bit skepitical at first when he quoted me a price for my mercedes . I took a chance and has been the best thing since slice bread . I could go on and on about how honest and fair this man is but I will leave it at that .He has done work on three differnt cars for me. You will not be sorry . I have tried others before and and they offered similar stuff but found they end up using cheap parts and cause problems later . Everything he has done for me has been pretty much flawless
