Dr. Christopher Drennen is a Board Certified Periodontist who is proud to provide comprehensive periodontal care to his patients and pursue his passion for helping others. He has received a Leadership Award from the International College of Dentists in addition to many other recognitions attained while serving as class president throughout all four years of dental school at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine.
Hanna Butenko, DMD, is a dentist at SEDA Dental in Florida. She provides comprehensive, compassionate, and gentle dental care to patients in Pompano Beach. Dr. Butenko is dedicated to ensuring patients have positive dental care experiences to promote good, lifelong oral health. She spends time with each patient to develop a patient-provider relationship that helps patients achieve their goal smiles.
Dr. Seth Gilson was born and raised in South Florida. He graduated with a degree in biology from the University of Florida and completed dental school at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Gilson has been an avid sports and health enthusiast since his youth and played soccer in both South Florida and New York at the collegiate and professional levels.
After achieving his bachelor's degree in biology at the University of Florida, Dr. Ryan Alman went to University of Pennsylvania school of Dental Medicine for his DMD. After completing his education he returned to where he was born and raised, practicing in Boca Raton and Coral Springs, Florida. He has now found a home with the Florida Dental Smiles team in 2020.

I wish I could give 5 stars but I cant. The dentist are great and so is Suzanne the hygienist. However when it comes to the opperations of the office it gets a little unprofessional. Issue 1 I had an appointment and when I never received any confirmation via text or phone call I called. I was told my appointment was moved to a different day, everyone was contacted and I missed the Voicemail. Not true there was no call. Issue 2 I was told my appointment was sched for a certain time and day. When I get the call/ text it has wrong time, wrong day or both. Issue 3 NOT FOR KIDS. One of my kids was

I had an extraction of a molar tooth with Dr Drennen and his assistant Diana. I'm grateful for the excellent treatment and procedure that was done! THEY ARE THE BEST ! I had a root canal and a crown performed by Dr Gavilla and I also had deep cleaning and whitening. I am really satisfied with the results! I really like this place ( thank you dr Scerbo!) . It’s really clean and they are professional and nice . Thank you Suzanne and thank you to the others. They took care of me very well . I used to be scared of going to the dentist but now I am not since they reassured me a lot . I really recommend that place.

I referred someone here and therefore, the experience was not so great. Work that could have been done was prolonged until that person didn't have insurance anymore. They referred him out to another dentist, that cost him a pretty penny out of pocket for one tooth. Be very mindful when you refer people. Everyone does not receive the same service!

I have been coming to the office for a couple years now. The staff has always been helpful. Recently I had a dental emergency and was seen that day. I have seen most of the dentists there but the most recent one was Dr. Butenko. She was very accommodating. I don’t like things on my neck and she accommodated this as much as she accommodated my comfort level.

I needed a custom night guard because the one I was using wasn't comfortable. I called and was able to get an appointment the very next day while the other offices I called had very long waitlists due to COVID. When I got to the office, there was virtually no wait and I was placed in a treatment room right away! Dr. Scerbo and his staff made me feel right at home. Dr. Scerbo addressed all my questions. I will definitely recommend this practice to all my family and friends!

The office staff was courteous, professional, and prompt. I had an appointment and they saw me on time so I didn't even wait in the waiting area.
They had hand sanitizer available and were requiring masks when not having dental work done (obviously lol).

I'm typically always nervous going to a new dentist, how ever from the moment I walked in the staff and doctor made me feel secure and that my feelings matter. The facility is very clean and organized. I came in for a cleaning. Dr Perez made feel at easy and took the time to answer all of my questions. Christel did my cleaning and she has the hands of an angel. I am thrilled to finally be at dentist where I'm not judged but taken care of. Most recently came in for an emergency visit because my fixed retainer had broke on one end and was not able to eat or talk much. With everything going on with COVID-19,I have been feeling a bit hesitant about going just anywhere.
I believe I spoke with either Victoria or Sam to schedule my appointment and was able to be seen sooner than I excepted for my visit. I went because I thought I lost a filling from a crown. Turns out it was the whole crown. The dentist tried to say I might need a root canal even though the tooth is healthy. He didn't offer to simply replace the crown. His method of treatment was to clean up the tooth and then cut gum. Who cuts healthy gum tissue to reveal the nerve of a tooth? I felt that whatever he was going to do was going to make matters worse and create unnecessary,

On a Friday at 1 pm I landed in miami airport with a tooth emergency . I called my own dentist and was told we only stay open till 2pm on Friday . FLORIDA SMILES DENTAL was the only one I could find that would take me . SO now I ditched my dentist and I'm a new patient at Florida Smiles Dental . My visit was pain free everyone is very friendly and I feel very comfortable there . I'm a new patient for life and will tell all my friends .

I have been coming to Florida Smiles Dental for about a year now and have had nothing but great experiences with Dr. Scerbo and his office. After moving to Fort Lauderdale, I struggled with finding a dentist that I felt comfortable going to until I came here. They do a great job making sure you fully understand everything that is going on and are always using top of the line equipment to make sure that your teeth are as healthy as possible. So far, so good. Florida Smiles in Lighthouse Point was the dental practice of Dr. Allin Crouch. Dr. Crouch retired and Dr. Scerbo bought his practice. I have never met Dr. Scerbo. I was sorry to see Dr. Crouch leave as he was a very good dentist. I had been with him for many years. He was a perfectionist, cared about his very devoted patients and he was honest. He was out of network for my insurance, but I did not care, as honesty and integrity are important to me. He and his staff made their patients feel like family.
