Depending on where you're at it was usually 30-40ft vis. Entertaining decorations placed underwater definitely will make you laugh.

Mountain divong is scarce. Th8s quarry is a winner. The owner tries very hard to be accomodating.

Best quarry in Tennessee, hands down. Alexandre Is an excellent host and is truly an owner who takes pride in his dive resort. Facilities are well maintained and easily accessible with any car.

Some of the best attractions: Paddlefish, full-size school bus, sharks (not actual sharks...), nesting bluegill, and all sorts of interesting stuff.

Cost is slightly higher than most other quarries in the area, but you get what you pay for. Expect to pay 25-35 per person based on amount of tanks needed. 10/10 would recommend.

For a quarry the facility is nice and the owner takes pride in the site. The paddlefish are fun to encounter. Late summer the water is comfortable to about 30 feet. A good place to practice and keep dive skills current.

Good place to keep your diving to date, unfortunately none divers are not allowed to get into the water so don't bring kids or wife that doesn't scuba dive.

This is a great local place to dive (under 3 drive from ATL) and the owners are genuinely concerned that everybody have a good time and are comfortable. If you need a tank refill, he comes down every so often to gather them and brings them back to you. He is making improvements as he can so I expect this place will get a lot better over the years.

There aren't showers or a bathroom but he does have very clean port-a-potty for use. I noticed most of the people come out with cooler and grill to make it a full day trip. Just a good bunch of people hanging out, having fun and diving.
