With a rich heritage of well over 50 years, the Italian recipes handed down through generations feature rich sauces, original pasta techniques, and home-made desserts. Located at 429 Walker Road in Jackson, Tennessee (in Thomsen Farms), the restaurant features casual seating, on-line drive-through ordering, and eco-friendly beverages and packaging.
Alcohol is not served, but BYOB wine is welcome with corkage fee. I know people have different feelings on takeout food during these times. Last night I decided to purchase a pan of wild stuff mushroom ravioli from the recently opened Italian restaurant, Mama Baudo's Chow Bella. It is owned by one of our Master Gardeners, Jack Baudo.

Food is good, but order was lukewarm not hot. Online order was placed, when ordering it allowed 2 pasta choices listed below exactly how receipt showed. Manager acknowledged the receipt showed 2 pasta and there must be an error with their online ordering but failed to honor what the receipt stated I should receive. It is a shame when trying to use a local restaurant instead of a national chain that they fail to honor what their system allowed you to order and pay for.

This had to be the most disappointing restaurant I’ve been to. The staff was super sweet but the food was not up to par. Paid $35 for two meals. Both things I could’ve gotten at Olive Garden for the same price but they would’ve tasted better there and had better portions. My boyfriend and I both left finishing all of our food but yet, still hungry. His salad was wilted. The free breadstick slices taste like the Whales crackers you can get at Walmart. And lastly, the ordering process is uncomfortable. You’re left standing in the doorway deciding what you want while the whole store watches

A wonderful place for a birthday celebration! My wife and I shared the penne with sausage. It was wonderful! The platter was heaped with penne pasta smothered in a sauce loaded with sausage, tomatoes, and mushrooms. Delicious! Complimented with a side salad and breadstick. To complete the celebration, we shared the Chocolate Decadence - a chocolate mousse type cheesecake with a chocolate crust, whipped topping and a drizzle of chocolate syrup. Decadent for sure! A little off the beaten path but that keeps it quiet and peaceful. It was a beautiful evening so we even ate outside! What a wonderful

It pains me to say this. Just go to Olive Garden. It's not that good, the service is OK. It's definitely overpriced. There are some things that are nice to have when you go out to dinner. Silverware, an adult-sized serving of pasta, refills on your soda, somebody who asks how your food is, a napkin... The people were all very nice, it just wasn't very good. Oh! The meatballs are good.

Husband and I came here for dinner, wanting to try something new. We won't be back. The food wasn't very hot. The meatball and sausage tasted dry. The angel hair with meat sauce wasn't bad, though not a lot of taste to the sauce. Husband said the beef raviolis were decent. The salad for an extra $2.50 (not included with meal) was an absolute joke, so small. Definitely not worth the added price. I've had salads that were included with my meal much bigger than this. The fried cheese was probably the best part of the meal. Definitely not worth the $52 we spent (included the tip). The waitress was

Tried this place out and….we won’t be back. First the way you order is confusing. We saw it had a counter with a menu and so we ordered there, but some people came in after us and sat down and were greeted at their table and ordered with a waitress. Second issue is, it has a drive through. Italian food isn’t fast food! So how can it be drive through? The food itself proves it’s not the best. The Italian dressing recommended because it was made in house was tasteless. Just oily. The house made blue cheese salad dressing tasted like paint. The Manicotti was meh, and the Saturday special of

We happened up on this place to eat on a busy Friday night and I'm so glad we did! We had spaghetti and lasagna with side salads and it was very good. The people working were super friendly and kind, which isn't easy to find these days. We got macadamia cheesecake and a strawberry cheesecake to take home and it was AMAZING! Would definitely recommend!

This is a nice place with a rich history in Jackson. We were travelling on our Anniversary and stopped here for dinner. My husband had the lasagna and said it was very good. I had penne pasta with mushroom marinara and thought it was just ok. The toasted, crunchy bread and marinara that came out before the entree was excellent, and much better than the plain breadstick that comes with the entree.
We had the decadent chocolate mousse type dessert and it was to die for!
Service is fast casual and all the staff were pleasant. We will probably stop again when visiting the area.

I was happy to see that Baudo's had opened up another location. I remember growing up on their food once upon a time, but I think this is second generation of what it was from the original restaurant. This is more low key and fast casual versus their original sit down restaurant they had. I liked their food and found it to be very tasty and enjoyable. My family frequents it and they always enjoy it as well. If I had any complaints at all, it would simply be that customer service can be off occasionally. They are mostly nice, but it can be lacking. Otherwise, food is good and desserts are even

An easily accessible location that is offset from the busier parts of town. On the outside it would simple and commercial because of the building facade it rests in, however once inside that all changes.
As you walk in, it has a very homey feel with a hint of a surprise rustic hole in the wall find. It certainly has a sense of Italian look but warmer, which is a nice touch.
The food was very good, and reasonably priced. As a party of two we shared an appetizer, one having the prime rib on special that night, and the other the chicken Parmesan. We ended right at $35-40 which is average, but considering
