Services
We are Andrea and Jeremy Anderson. In the spring of 2016, we purchased Silvertip Lodge and Cabins from Dean and Mary Talley, who built the first cabin in 1999. The summer of 2020 will be our 5th season of operation at Silvertip & we are excited to have you stay in our cabins. Andrea grew up in California but fell in love with Alaska after visiting her grandparents in Cooper Landing.
Our 6 cabins are nestled on 8.5 acres of old growth forest on a beautifully maintained private property. Silvertip is centrally located to all our fishing and sightseeing activities to reduce driving time for your day trips. Local grocery stores are 5 minutes from our cabins where you can grab groceries for any meal.
Each cabin has a full kitchen, full bathroom, and 1-2 bedrooms. Our cabins are comfortable and clean and provide you with the amenities of home. Our Alaska Cabin rentals also include wireless internet, barbecue grills, a communal fire pit for everyone to enjoy, fish freezers, processing room to vacuum seal your fish (.50 cents/bag), and coin laundry.
As you plan your Alaska vacation, we can work with you to customize a travel package that includes the fishing and sightseeing trips you are looking for and matches the specific pace you'd like to move at. We also have some pre-made packages that our guests have already built which could be perfect for you.

Silvertip Lodge is my go-to. I love the location of the lodge and it’s proximity to both Soldotna and my fishing spots along the Kenai. And the grounds are beautifully secluded. The fire pit and fish processing room always make for interesting conversation with folks from all over! Cabins are warm, dry, and CLEAN! Oh, and did I mention fish processing room!?!—what an amazing amenity!!

We have fished the Kenai River below Skilak Lake with Jeremy 3 or 4 times. He is a great guide. He knows where to find fish and what to use to catch them. He is very safety-aware, and makes clients comfortable. His boat is perfect for the river, and he keeps the boat and fishing equipment clean and neat. On all the trips we have caught some large rainbows. That stretch of the Kenai is not as scenic as the upper river, but the fish tend larger and you are likely to see Alaskan wildlife- eagle, moose, bear.

AMAZING! Entrusting Jeremy as our outfitter for the entire week to book our excursions was the only way to do this dream vacation. Jeremy handled all booking and provided a nice cabin. While we watched whale tours with 50 plus guests on a large boat our personal smaller boat had 6. We were within 30 feet of several whales. Limited on halibut and salmon each day. Fly in for salmon and watched bears eat salmon. Jeremy personally took us for salmon and after our limit allowed us to fly fish for trout to close the day. Don't leave your vacation to chance get someone who knows the guides you go out

Fishing for Rainbows on the Kenai River with Jeremy Anderson has become a right of summer for my wife and me. Gone are the DIY days where we tried to find rainbow trout on our own while, drifting, motoring, paddling, or otherwise getting ourselves in all the wrong places for catching rainbow trout. And then we hooked up with Jeremy and now we let him do the driving and we catch rainbows. He is a professional guide that operates a first-class boat and treats you like family. We stayed at the Silvertip lodge this early August. The accommodations are in great shape and incredibly clean. We had all the essentials that we needed for our week stay. The beds were comfortable and in good shape. The black out curtains were great.
The facilities were well kept and in good condition. The fish packing room was a great addition. The fire pit is a great upgrade from our last visit.
I think the most valuable part of the lodge is the Anderson family. Jeremey grinds it all day long. He is non stop making sure everyone is taken care of. Andrea is there for what ever you need. Her

I couldn’t tell you one back thing about my groups stay at Silvertip. Not only were the cabins a great place to stay, but Jeremy and Andrea are fantastic people. You want to catch some salmon? Well, Jeremy has you covered because he is the best fishing guide I’ve ever had. These people are so kind and so knowledgeable, you won’t regret staying here.

Silvertip Lodge and Cabins was a great place to stay. We enjoyed the fire pit, grill and fish processing room. The cabins were clean and safe. The management asked us for our Covid test results and that made me feel glad that they were taking our health and safety seriously. They were always available to get us anything we needed. I also liked the small coolers they provide, we used them on our fishing days and took our lunch in them. The cabins were fun to stay in and we couldn’t hear other people during the night.
