In the spring of 2019, Sloatsburg Nursery officially opened for business as a full-service retail and wholesale plant, tree and garden nursery. Unofficially, it actually started selling salt and firewood in 2017, while owners Simon Davis and Derek Neretich began developing their grandiose plans for when the nursery would finally burst into "bloom"!

Great selection of plants, trees and other various garden and landscape supplies. Mulch and stone, as well as firewood. Walkway pavers and tile pavers in many beautiful selections. Custom crafted outdoor fire pits with many to choose from.

I ordered a full cord of seasoned firewood from Sloatsburg Nursery in the Fall of 2020. Delivery was promised 2 weeks from the date of my order but it was not actually received until 4 weeks after the promised delivery date. And, the delivery I received was largely comprised of thick pieces that were not sufficiently split. Moreover, the wood was not seasoned and smolders rather than burns in my fireplace. When I complained to Sloatsburg Nursery management they invited me to pick up a wheelbarrow of firewood at their facility, which wood burns very well in my fireplace. However, a wheelbarrow of
