This is a great little local clothing shop. Their shoes are super amazing and you can’t beat their skirts!

So much to choose from and very efficient use of the store space! Great spot for gifts for friends and family with all sorts of personalities. The staff were very welcoming, helpful and kind.

Best place for unique finds and thoughtfully curated gifts. Never leave without a pair of earrings. They are ones you'll hardly find anywhere else and always get compliments.

Went in today, I wanted to buy myself something nice, And I used to love this store. I figured I deserved something nice. However, after an employee ask me twice if I needed something and then Continuously looked over my shoulder I decided I’d leave and spend my hard earned money somewhere else.
Oh she also stopped me before I walked out and had the nerve to ask if I was looking for something. I told her no I’m just really tired of you following me around the store so I figured I’d just leave since my business wasn’t welcome. Your loss.

I enjoyed this beautiful store. I assume she's the owner, but today she went above and beyond to make me feel special, she even came outside to tell me Thank you... I love this place and will be back... It's a cute gift shop..

i always go in without a plan and leave happy. the staff are all so helpful and know just where to point you for the perfect gift (and so are many of the other customers!). always a fun time at vaguely!

This place is a hidden gem. I found it by accident when I was in town for a wedding and needed a different pair of shoes. I absolutely love them! I get compliments on them often. I came back today a year later to find it and after some searching online I found it! Just bought a gorgeous pair of ankle boots!

Vaguely is a pleasant surprise. Tucked on a street in Durham, it is chock full of anything and everything you could possibly want...from floor to ceiling! I “LOVE” this store and Carol, the owner! Prices are Uber reasonable!!! She doesn’t gouge like so many shop keepers do, but simply wants to pay a living wage...plus benefits to her staff, and have enough to live on herself! That means prices for “me” are MUCH less than I can buy the same item in Birmingham, AL. What a win/win!!! Thank you Carol! I will continue to purchase from you!!!

If I could give this place a billion stars, I would. It's small, but you could spend a 40-hour week in there and still not see everything. The staff was extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome and appreciated. They have the largest Blue Q collection I've seen inside an actual store. A great, fun selection of greeting cards and artisan jewelry. They also have tons of purses and shoes and just random must have items. I cannot wait for my next trip to Durham because Vaguely Reminiscent will be my first stop!
