Established in 1974 in Ottertail, Minnesota, Carr's Tree Service was founded by a father and his sons. The tree service business has now expanded to serve the majority of the state of Minnesota with offices in Ottertail, Alexandria, Rochester, St. Cloud, Mankato and the North Metro. In addition to Minnesota, we work in Eastern North Dakota, and Eastern South Dakota, Northern Iowa, and Western Wisconsin.
Our staff is highly skilled in all areas of the tree service industry and are certified line clearance tree trimmers. Training entails CPR and First Aid, Aerial Rescue Practices, and line voltage recognition. We are proud to be a member of the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) and Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA).

Jake Carr resides in the Fergus Falls, MN area. His love for the outdoors coupled with his passion for competition and commitment brought him back to the family business. Jake coached football for nine years at the collegiate level while obtaining a degree in Life Science Biology (Education 5-12) and a master's degree in Organizational Leadership.

Derek came by my property to see which trees needed to come down, and gave me a very good price for their removal. Had a great chat with a good man.
I stopped by their Ottertail office on the way back to my hotel in Perham to thank Leeann for her support in helping me meet with Derek today, since I"m only in MN for a short time and couldn't have done it without her. Also met the rest of their front office team who were very informative and helpful.

They removed a very large willow tree for my MIL, they did a wonderful job, moved the swing set and playhouses, worked around her pool. Very professional, cleaned off the roof and gutters, even though they didn’t really need it. Would recommend to anyone!
