With yards in Allentown and Harrisburg to serve our customers all over central and eastern PA and New Jersey. We offer Hydraulic Truck and All Terrain Cranes, Conventional Crawler Cranes and Rough Terrain Cranes all with Qualified and Certified operators.
We also offer lift planning services as well as warehousing and hauling serices. Our shops in Reading and Allentown are licensed repair shops for heavy equipment and are able to perform inspections.

Services
Our home office located in Reading, PA opened in 1948 by Irvin B. Dickinson and now in its 3rd generation of family ownership. Our crane service company began servicing the Berks County area and surrounding counties. Throughout the years as our customer base continued to grow, we branched out to Allentown and Harrisburg to accommodate them.
A service that sets us apart from our competitors is our lift planning and crane rigging. Our certified experts have the capability to create 3D models of a job site to account for 99% of obstacles. This makes crane sizing and positioning much easier and allows us to keep the pricing as manageable as possible.
All of our operators undergo a 4 year apprenticeship program, carry NCCO certifications and PA Crane Operator Licenses. We also offer qualified riggers and qualified signalmen upon request. With 20 or more years of average experience, and with safety being our primary goal, we know we have the crane and the crew you need to complete your project efficiently and safely.
Rough Terrain and Conventional Crawler cranes require hauling of their parts to job sites. However, I. B. Dickinson & Sons trucking fleet does not just deliver crane parts. As a courtesy to our customers we have hauled tanks, containers, and HVAC units to job sites. This service helps to take the frustration out of scheduling cranes and delivery.
I. B. Dickinson & Sons has a philosophy, and that is to make our customers jobs easier. As part of that theme, we offer on-site warehousing to help avoid scheduling issues on the job site. We offer indoor and outdoor warehousing and handling to make sure your items are safe and secure until they are delivered.

One of my operators waived nicely at one of their operators in a crane and their operator gave him the middle finger. You should put your operator in line. I have sent you work in the past but I will be sure not to in the future if that is the way Dickenson's operators return the favor. That was classless of the operator.
