Quality of life has been shown to be directly related to retention of talented staff and adequate staffing patterns. At Little Brook, we are proud that our staffing meets both Federal and State requirements. Many of our direct care staff have been employed at Little Brook for up to 25 years. Our employees all live locally and many know the families and friends of our Residents.
Little Brook offers the full range of professional services that are available at larger institutions. At Little Brook, we believe that transparency is essential to maintaining our standards of professionalism, fairness and responsibility. All of our daily bed rates are all-inclusive, with no hidden, surprise or additional monthly charges.
At Little Brook, we believe that an active lifestyle is important to overall health and wellness. Our Activities Director, Anne McLean, ADPC, coordinates daily projects and activities to keep our Residents thinking, moving, and enjoying themselves. Daily activities are also complemented by volunteer visits, live music performances, cooking sessions, holiday parties, religious services and much more.

My dear friend is at Little Brook for now. I have to say they are so caring and kind! It's a big adjustment when one is still able-bodied. They have helped her feel welcome and truly cared for. When ever I have called for someone to assist her with something they took care of it so quickly! Because of being a smaller facility they really know all the residents and their needs. I would recommend Little Brook highly!

I cannot say enough great things about LIttleBrook. My mom has been at LittleBrook for over 4 years and she receives the best care there. The staff is wonderful, and so very caring. It's like you are visiting family when you go there. It is a very small facility which makes it so homey and comfortable. You get to know everyone and they get to know you which is very important. I am planning to set aside a room for myself for when the time comes ;-)

My mother has been at Little Brook for almost two years and in that time, I have visited frequently and at various times, so I have witnessed the functioning of the home and the activities and care of the residents at unexpected times and found it to be excellent. My mother seems to be happy and I credit the social director, Ann, with this accomplishment. She works hard to keep the residents occupied and engaged, and it is much appreciated. The dedication of the staff is a direct correlation to the zero positive Covid residents. I am very comfortable with my mother being a resident at Little Brook

My mother had been in other, larger facilities, the most recent prior to LB drugged her with antidepressants and kept her in bed 22 hours a day. I like Littlebrook for the size. It really is more like a family than a facility and its in a lovely location. The internet speed needs updating but the care (which is more important) is top shelf!

My mother has been there for two years now, and we are very happy with the individualized care she has received. It is a small facility that is kept very clean. Care is taken to find roommates who are compatible, and we've been very pleased with the staff.
Little Brook went through a time a while ago when a management change led to other unwelcome changes, leading me to downgrade my rating. It is now past time, however, to upgrade that rating. Even before the state was shut down for COVID-19, changes started being made at Little Brook, such as temperature checks on anyone entering the building

My mother was a resident of Little Brook for many many years and I cannot say enough good things about it. It has a warm and caring environment that always caused me to trust that they were giving my mother the best of care. Many of the staff were there for years and they were patient and compassionate at all times. Their handling of the COVID epidemic was cutting edge and remarkably successful. If I had to make the decision again, I would again choose Little Brook. I highly recommend it.

Our mother stayed at Little Brook, and she was treated very well. From the dietician to nurses to the administrator every one was caring and professional. I highly recommend LB to anyone seeking good care for their loved ones.

I do not recommend this place. They do not focus on patient care, the focus is more on money. The nurse & nurses aide to patient ratio is insane.
