Keith is 90 years young and still shows up to work every day! Gary currently serves as the President of Swaner Hardwood and spends most of his time managing key client relationships as well as managing the business. Gary has spent his entire career in the hardwood industry and has served on many boards, including most recently the National Hardwood Lumber Association.

All lengths are random and will vary depending on the wood species, typically from 8 feet to 16 feet. We buy our wood in random lengths and try to cut the longest lengths possible. We do try to match lengths to each moulding according to use. When ordering random lengths, be sure to include extra footage for waste or mistakes.

Amazing product and outstanding customer service. I was unfamiliar with Swaner until I stumbled across their hardwoods on Home Depot's website. Intrigued by the home delivery option, I ordered a small bundle. I rec'd the incorrect size, so I gave Swaner a call. Within 48 hours, they had the correct item at my doorstep. Their customer service was great! I'm very impressed with the quality of the S4S boards--clean, straight, good character and color. They have some great domestic products you can't find anywhere else. However, I have to give them a 1 star review for stocking African Mahogany. African Mahogany is cut down from shrinking rainforests in Central Africa. It's extremely unethical to continue stocking that species. They should know better and stick to domestic wood products.
