This campground is well-kept and closely situated to the town of hot springs. The staff is very personable and flexible. After hours check in was a breeze. Cameron keeps the facilities looking nice and smelling fresh too. We were one of 2 or three visitors on a late night in November, so it was very peaceful. I also appreciate the fair rates. Thank you!

Annie and Cameron (owners) have been so kind and helpful. We are in the middle of a move from Washington State to Idaho. It is middle November and they have been working on improving their sites in 30• weather. The shower stalls are clean. The grounds are well kept. We are the only campers here but they have been so welcoming and understanding of our situation. I 100% recommend this place to stay. There are many things to do in the area but we are here on the off season so haven't done much other than stay in the camper. Please choose this place they have cute retro campers you can rentif you

Had a great experience camping here. The camp host was very kind, he said due to it not being busy there were some other options to park for the night in our campervan if we wanted. The bathrooms were very clean and new with hot water! The showers have their own room which is nice so you have more space. The grass is well taken care of and it is near town, which is convient. The only downside is how close to the highway it is with the loud trucks coming down the hill using their breaks. This was a great place to stay and we will be back if we are in the area again.

What a great campground!! We have stayed here multiple times because it is a nice clean park. The owners are the nicest people. We stayed here once and loved it and the owners so much that we drove ten hours just to stay here again. We have plans to come back at least twice a year. There is so much to do in the campground. It is also walking distance to the hot pools, and floating the river. They are continuing to make the park better each day.

Fun campground with everything you need. Very clean and well maintained, bathrooms were clean, camp host was friendly. Nice to have real flushing toilets and showers. There’s also a playground and volleyball court. Hookups and the dump station were wonderful for our RV. The only thing that was less than wonderful is the noise of the traffic all night from the highway. We’ll definitely return but pick a different spot that’s farther from the road. We were at site 2 which was nice, right along the creek, and had great shade, but too close to the traffic noise.

Excellent campground. Even has a playground for the kids. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.
Being so close to the highway and the train tracks, you are constantly woken up in the middle of the night by road and rail traffic. Probably fine if you are in a RV. But can be a problem if you are in a tent and not a heavy sleeper.

My husband and I have been to 1000s of campgrounds. We are big R'vers, and spend our summers camping in different locations with our fur kids. This place has beautiful grounds, manicured campsites and the shower rooms are Topnotch. I'd highly recommend this place to families, or singles. The retro RVs are super cute, clean and cozy . Great for a romantic get away. The hot springs are less than a mile away. The price is reasonable for the location. Definitely a little hidden Gem. The staff are super friendly too. If you haven't been here , you need to add it to your bucket list. I've been sharing

It's a fairly standard RV park with standard prices. I appreciated the friendly, generous and fair staff and how incredibly clean everything was, which is why I gave it extra stars. Also, the one major problem is one that is not the fault of the owners or staff, but I can't give all 5 stars because there is one *really* major problem.
Noise.
I have slept (even in a tent) in loud areas before. I've even slept close to highways in the past. Normally, not a big deal to me. But, my word, this place was loud. It was like I had pitched a tent between a busy runway, a helicopter pad, and a construction

We stayed here for one night and were pleased with the campground's proximity to downtown Lava Hot Springs. Everything was EXTREMELY clean. The only reason I'm taking off one star is because our campsite (E) was very dusty unlike the other campsites which had plenty of grass. It would also be really great to have hooks added in the shower rooms! Overall, it was a great stay.

We pulled in with 3 kids who'd been squabbling in the car to find our glamping tent. When we tried to get in we discovered a broken zipper that no amount of muscle power was going to force open. I called the # and had the owners there within minutes to fix our problem. Meanwhile, the kids had gone down to the awesome retro playground to run off their energy. It took the owners a few different trips to get supplies to fix the tent. After an hour of their hard work, we had a functional door and some free firewood for our troubles!
The bed and cots are comfortable, the bathrooms are clean

This is a really nice campground. Looks fairly new. They have 30/50 amp service with water. However they do not have sewer here. We have stayed here a few times now and will surely be back. The owners are awesome and the staff working there are super friendly. The trees are a bit small yet but when they get bigger there will be plenty of shade. Even if you don't have an RV they have tent sites and even restored like tear drop style trailers you can stay in. They do have bathrooms around the campground as well. Can go wrong here.

I have stayed here a few times. As a single mom on fixed budget I have not been able to head up to Lava often due to cost in lodging. I like to get away alone in better weather seasons and do not always feel comfortable staying alone in state/federal campgrounds which are the cheapest option. I was so happy to find this place! Affordable! Safe! Roof over my head and a locked door still being able to enjoy a camp fire and get the outdoor feeling! Wonderful! Super clean! And! The cleanest! I mean THE CLEANEST portapotty one will ever see! It is cleaner than some of the private bathrooms in hotels

This place is easily one of the best campgrounds in Lava. We went on a last minute trip to Grand Teton National Park over the Labor Day weekend and needed a place to stay Friday night. Their website let us check availability and book online. A few minutes after booking, we had our confirmation along with instructions on how to get to our spot. Best of all, we didn't have to check in with anyone on arrival.
The price was insanely low ($20), lower than anywhere else we've camped at in Lava. The bathrooms were very clean. We will definitely be back here in the future.

This is a great site to camp for RVs (with Water and Power hookups), Tents, and those that just need a bed for the night (in one of their Retro Remodeled Trailers). They have a big park areas with Volley Ball, Swings, Tether Ball, and Merry Go Round (spinning thing). The Camp host (Annie) is extremely nice!! It is a short Mile drive to the Lava Hot Springs Pools. There is also a beautiful hike you can take into town that is about a mile.We loved staying here.

The owners have spent a lot of time and money maintaining, and fixing up some small trailers. The place is very nice. They have a small playground and a great view. This is not my ideal place. I prefer being out away from people. The stalls are right next to each other. This is very typical for camp site around Lava. We had the best stall for our weekend. 11 is away from all the other campers. The walk from this camp ground to the city is not a quick one. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. We had problems finding the place, because google told us we had arrived about 1 mile from the turn

This place is super rad! My boyfriend and I were on a road trip and decided to check out the hot springs. We were in a camper van but decided to try out a night in one of the retro campers on site due to the low price (they have discounts on Mondays). The decor was so cute even down to the out houses. The camper was so clean and the interior new. The bed was SO comfortable. I HIGHLY recommend this place.
