Since 2008, Big Dave's Seafood Restaurant has been delighting the tastebuds of the local community, and attracting visitors from far and wide, all across the USA. The restaurant was started by husband and wife team Dave and Laura Linder, but has recently moved into the safe hands of Jason Godfrey, who as the former Restaurant General Manager, is happy to continue the traditions of great food, friendly service, and a wholesome family atmosphere!

Repairs, renovations and upgrades were made, but the regulars returning after the long period of closure will be delighted to see that the wall features and friendly atmosphere of the pre-fire Big Daves has been enhanced! Here at Big Dave's we pride ourselves on our family friendly atmosphere, Jason and Josh would like to sincerely welcome you to the Big Dave's family.

This place was absolutely amazing 👏. my wife and I went to check it out yesterday for the first time and one thing I notice first was the perfect atmosphere, second was the great service. everyone was so nice… even the waiters we didn't have was super nice and also the wait time was pretty fast for a fish camp. now the best part was the FOOD. not sure if I can explain how GOOD this food 😋 I'm talking about flawless. everything came out HOT hot hot... it was all cooked to order and it came our pretty fast. I would recommend any and everybody to eat here. I ALSO FELT WELCOMED

Take out order-not good this time. Ordered Salt/Pepper catfish and whitefish with shrimp side salad and calamari. 1 catfish cooked well, fries were soggy. The other dinner was wrong and the food tasted as if it had been cooked in old oil. Side salad - not their best.
Calamari really the only thing decent, but only the rings - no tentacles.
Really disappointed!! Usually everything we order is good.

Recently moved here and this is one of my favorite places to go!! The staff are very friendly, food is always fresh and never have to wait very long. Prices aren't outrageous especially for the amount of food you get. We always have leftovers 😊

We love Big Dave's Seaford in Forest City, NC. It's my husband's favorite place to eat fish. I also like the chicken and steak meals. The salads are so good. It's been a favorite at our house for many years and hopefully many more to come!!!! 1/8/22.

***** The quality of food has really improved in the past 2 visits. They must have a new cook because everything was cooked to perfection. We tiped and complimented the cook and server.

They were so packed out it was ridiculous! But in a good way. We only had to wait 20mins for our table and our waitress was super nice. Even though she was extremely busy, she still made sure we were good and our drinks stayed filled! Awesome place!!

Their food is absolutely delicious and you get more food for your buck than most people can eat in one sitting. And they're down home country Southern hospitality is very charming.

So much food, you can eat eat eat and still share with another person. The ambiance is great, the servers friendly, the ads on the tables - ridiculous. And yet there's nothing to complain about, only things to rave about. And there's so much food for so little you won't know what to do with it. Recommended! Oh and they put lemon in your water without asking - YES!
