Philips Respironics announced a voluntary recall for Continuous and Non-Continuous Ventilators (certain CPAP, Bilevel PAP and Ventilator Devices) due to two issues related to the polyester based polyurethane (PE-PUR) sound abatement foam used in these devices.

I just called their billing dept to ask why I was invoiced and they could not tell me what the invoice was for. I asked 5 times and they could not tell me.
they kept telling me the date of the invoice and the machine and its the insurance company's fault.

Health care providers have even told me this is an awful company to do business with. The service is terrible.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

Absolutely horrible... I called a month ago to return my CPAP and they said they'd send out a return box with pre-paid shipping label. I waited A MONTH for it to arrive and when it didn't, I called them. They said they had no record of the request... So I tried calling them again 3 days ago. Can't get anyone on the phone at all, but they keep calling me EVERYDAY SINCE trying to "resupply my CPAP". When I call back (they leave messages on my cell phone. I work a full time job and can't answer whenever feel like calling!) the phone tree sends me everywhere but where

I had been a customer of Cape Medical Supply since 2013. Today I got a call from the rudest customer service associate who sounded like she was barely staying awake. Not sure what happened, these people used to be very helpful and friendly.

Terrible company to deal with, I had a Phillips sleep apnea machine my Dr. wrote a new Prescription for a new machine as of the health concerns with the Phillips machine. after numerous calls and promises of call backs etc no one ever got back to me. I finally had to purchase a new sleep apnea machine online at a fraction of the cost Cape Medical would have charged.
Very poor company to deal with I own my own company and if I treated people the way they do I would be out of business. If I could as so many other people stated on the reviews I would give them negative stars.

What was once a good company has gone completely downhill over the last few years - the bigger it got, the worse it became. Hard to contact customer service. Online ordering REQUIRING me to order CPAP supplies I don't need before I can order what I DO need. Phone ordering allows me to get only what is necessary, but the wait times for a live person and then the supplies is painfully long. Hard to find an alternative under my insurance - but I will try. Very, very disappointed in this company.

I was misled about my monthly bill. Then when you attempt to contact them it's impossible. I paid a deductible for 777 and was told to my face that there would be a monthly bill for 80 dollars for monitoring and what not. The last two months I received a bill for 394. i showed them the agreed payment from my first meeting. The billing department started to double talk and then sent me to another part of their company who couldn't answer my questions. This is absolutely deceptive and unethical behavior. Sadly I was referred by my pulmonologist to this place. I am actively seeking a reputable

Love the helpful, knowledgeable and kind people I have had contact with at Cape Medical Supply. I have been a customer for approximately seventeen months. Every month I call for re-supply, every person I speak to very kind. Have spoken to several Respiratory Specialist- kind and knowledgeable, never a problem.
But the person that I'm writing this review about is SAVANNAH. I cannot say enough good things about her.. she's enthusiastic about her job and about helping me with decisions on the cpap masks. She sends me links of what I might like based on what I tell her. SAVANNAH has the patience of

I was/am a customer. Philips had a recall. My medical device supplier refused to answer any questions simply reading from a script. So I need this device but am told do not use it there has been a recall with no resolution. I filled out the manufacturers form. Now they want me to fill out another or do it again? I asked for another brand that was not on recall. I was told to go to my PCP. I did. They asked what was expected! The medical supplier should supply the medical equipment. Absolutely poor customer service. I have called several times. They must not need the business. I have never written

Absolute staggering incompetance. We've been trying to get a new cpap mask for months, and they simply won't tell us when we might receive it or what the holdup is, but they do keep asking for more money for "expedited shipping" to get the item at an indeterminate time.

This morning I called Customer Service Dept because I had questions about my ordering my CPAP supplies from my computer. I spoke with a lady named Savannah. She was AMAZING! She not only answered by questions she explained everything about how they worked, when and WHY they needed to be changed. What happened to the "tubing" if it was not changed at the correct times. How long the "mask" lasted before it weakened and leaked even if worn correctly and looked OK to use. Savannah was a wealth of information. I have been a CPAP user for many years but I learned more from Savannah than from anyone else

My family and I flew in from across the country and my father discovered he left the power cord to his cpap at home. These folks responded to my messages within minutes. We were greeted with a smile upon arrival and Manny had what we needed ready. Could not have asked for better help and service. Oh, and the part was $10 cheaper than the price listed for it on Amazon.

No problem with the receipt of the initial cpap machine.
After some months, I decided that, perhaps, I would benefit from a full mask VS the nasal pillow.

Order was placed Oct 14
When order was received, I couldn't figure out why I couldn't get mask to attached to hosing + no headgear was included, as ordered
After spending waaaaaaaay to long on a Live Chat with Health Sqyre rep, we finally figured out that I had received 2 components instead of 4.
Rep stated that Cape Medical would be notified.

Bottom line is that my patience ran out and I cancelled the order.

I was really pleased that Cape medical supply assisted me in getting my CPAP machine & after the initial assistance it all ended. I tried on a few occasions to make an appointment to have my machine adjusted, but they were always booked. The major issue that I'm running into as I have Blue Cross and Blue Shield. I Was told after the first 90 days of using my CPAP that I don't have to worry too much about how often are used it etc. The company really put me in a bind because A month went by where I wasn't comfortable in my bed and was sleeping in our guest room on and off. Initial meeting in Sandwich facility with their technician for CPAP went well. He was knowledgeable and clear.
Subsequent interactions for apparatus were difficult, with multiple phone calls (my allergist kindly faxed the prescription THREE times over a month), long waits for supplies, and little or no follow-up.
This is one of the few companies I have dealt with, that is so consumer unfriendly, and which leaves the impression that they don't have to be, since they are the "only game in town"!

I wish I could give them negative stars. They hate veterans. They refuse to pay VA approved expenses then send past due notices months later after never sending a bill to begin with. Forget yelp. Look around. These clowns are hosing everyone.

I was directed to Cape Medical Supply by my doctor after I was diagnosed with sleep apnea. My initial meeting with the sales rep for the CPAP was good. He was thorough, and explained the billing etc.
My experience after that has been a nightmare. I have had my CPAP for 6 months. At first Cape Medical Supply called me every day after the first 30 days to purchase new supplies. It was being billed through my flex card, which I guess was stopped because they needed a receipt.
I called CMS to explain the situation, they said. "No problem".

They have the worst customer service. There is no bending over backwards from them. I was hoping for a local supply company and got a company that ships out of Kentucky and takes 5-7 business days. Glad to move on to West Gate Home Medical in Hyannis. Way more accommodating.

If I could give negative stars, I would. This is described as their "flagship store" yet they only have about 20 products on the shelves in a small area. I came in here with directions from my physical therapist to get a specific product that she described in detail. At first I thought the place was deserted, but at length (and with a sigh) a frowning woman got up and walked over to help me.

I forgot the name of the item, but after describing it at length to the grouchy store clerk and pointing out what looked EXACTLY like my verbal description on the wall, she informed me in no uncertain
