I had a seamless customer service experience with Kathy, the service advisor. She kept me updated with my vehicle's status, and any issues that occurred. Any concerns and questions I had were answered professionally with a great depth of knowledge. I haven't met the service technician, but I was provided a brief summary communicated between Kathy and the technician.
In the state of California, some vehicles are required by law to have their smog check performed by a STAR station. Dhillon Motorsports located in San Jose, CA is a certified STAR station. This means our facility meets the required higher performance standards that are set forth by the Bureau of Automotive Repair.

New to the hybrid scene Chevy Volt. I loath dealerships and always look for an independent shop. Looked online and found Dhillon Motorsports. They advertised that they worked on my particular car (hybrid) so I gave them a call. They were responsive and had the right attitude. I scheduled my car and dropped it off. They quickly diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts to fix my car. The diagnosis was spot on and the problem was fixed. There was a charge for the time to diagnose the problem which I paid for and never questioned, I believe the fee is legitimate. It's not like I pulled in and

Made an appointment to do an oil change and asked that they rotate the tires after confirming that they were uneven. It was a reasonable price. They also gave honest suggestions for upcoming repairs. The only downside is that it took almost 3 hours, which in my opinion is a little long for the work being done. Next time I will be sure not to wait while they are repairing it.

Many times people ask me to leave a review, this place never said a word about it. I randomly found this business in search of a SMOG check AND and a place that could fix it if my car didn't pass. They suggested an appointment, which I prefer. The place is organized, clean, welcoming--with a giant living room-sized waiting room and comfy furniture, and extremely convenient if you live in North San Jose. What makes this place so great though is the woman behind the front desk, whose name I forgot to ask, who is polite, helpful, efficient, and gave me a subtle upsell that felt just right. I

I was driving around looking for auto repair shop around the neighborhood and I was glad I made a good decision. I spoke to Kathy , she is very professional soft spoken and she makes you feel comfortable. The service I got was superb. There was no pressure and sales talk. My go-to shop since 2011 for smog checking my 4 cars. High integrity, fast, reliable, accurate, fair. Gave me great tips on items to watch on each car. Great local business! Would not go anywhere else.
They do not advertise their top notch *tire mounting* and *road force balancing* capabilities. Best kept secret, no lines, short waits compared to the big tire places.

Honesty in the automotive business can be hard to find, but luckily I found this shop years ago and never looked back. The staff is very helpful and courteous but also willing to give you an honest diagnosis of your vehicle. I also appreciated the precautions they had set for Covid. I highly recommend you check them out, you won't regret it!

Rarely you'll find a business that you know you'll be using for the rest of your life and this business is one of those businesses. I've been going here for years. It's nice to take my vehicles to a shop where I can actually interact with the people that are working on my car rather than only talk to someone when they take my keys or need me to pay for the bill like at other places. I've always been well informed on the diagnosis and what needs to be done on my vehicles. Everyone here is knowledgeable and I trust their recommendations. I highly recommend this place to anyone

They are very nice and accommodating. The receptionist is very respectful. They practice social distancing and enforces wearing of masks all the time. They have hand sanitizer available for customers. And service is by appointment only.

This place is great. Kay and his team are AWESOME. I brought my project car in for its first smog in 14 years and was super nervous.
Kathy, the service advisor was professional and kind. Very easy to work with. She told me the smog would be between 45 minutes and an hour. She answered all the questions I had while demonstrating a depth of knowledge in the smog process and in cars in general.
Kay, performed the smog check and was also very knowledgeable. Definitely a car guy/enthusiast. He explained some of the vacuum system lines and details to me after the test (I passed), and also answered
