His medical education was obtained from Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine where he received his doctorate degree in 1983 finishing at the top of his class.Dr. Donovan completed his podiatric surgical residency at The Osteopathic Medical Center of Philadelphia. He was awarded the title of Chief Resident upon completion of his first year.

I have gone to Dr. James Donovan for 29 years. I had brought my daughter at 3 months old because her feet were turning in. Dr. D. put cast on both feet knowing this problem will be solved,and of course it was. My daughter is now 29 and our family will never go to anybody else. He has such compassion for all his patients and a true professional!

Dr.Donovan and his staff are great! They are very friendly and get you in as soon as possible. I broke my big toe and followed up with Dr.Donovan after the ER. I felt very comfortable with Dr.Donovan and he gets right to the problem and takes a very practical, logical and gentle approach.I made a second appointment with Dr,Donovan for the foot pain I have been having for months and put off treating and I would absolutely reccomend him for anybody putting off addressing foot pain issues! I really appreciated his demeanor and I felt like I was hanging out talking not just in a doctor's office.He
