My name is Thomas Vu and I am a lover of worldly beers, 85°C Bakery cakes and boba milk tea. When I'm not photographing or editing pictures, I work on art and design concepts. If you've seen any of the Heineken billboard ads targeting Asian cultures, chances are you've seen my advertising work.
I have been taking pictures for as long as I can remember. For me, life is about seeking after passion and love. Photography is my passion and family is my love. I try my best to live my life without reservations and embrace this philosophy in everything I do. I am based in Orange County, California, but am willing to travel to exotic oceans or fly to the other side of the world to photograph your wedding.

I have worked with Thomas for about 4 years and he is incredibly professional and passionate about his work. He does the photography for our quarterly commencement ceremonies and he always gets amazing photos. Let me just tell you that he once came in on his birthday, talk about dedication. He is just an amazing photographer!!!

With the many, many photo booth options out there, how does one choose? I contacted 9 photo booth vendors for my wedding. Hands down, Thomas offered the best price and was the most responsive. Even before I submitted my deposit, he asked me how I'd like our photo template. I gave him and a rough sketch, and he produced the picture I uploaded! (The blue will be replaced by pictures guests take.) It wasn't even a competition at that point, so I signed the contract. I'm excited to see how they do the day of!! Stay tuned for an update. =D

My husband and I found Vu Photography through Yelp. We chose to book Thomas because we really liked the photos on his website and his photo packages were affordable. We found cheaper photographers, but their photos were not nearly as nice. We really liked Thomas' modern, photo journalistic approach that made it look like a beautiful moment captured in time instead of a forced pose. He has a level of skill that you would normally find in a more expensive photographer, yet he charges a reasonable price.

A wedding is a big lifetime event, but it also only lasts one day. Because of this, it was extremely important for us to find the right photographer who could capture the beauty of the day so that we could remember our time with family and friends forever. We must have searched through dozens of photographers in Orange and LA county, and finally stumbled upon Thomas's website. The look and style of his photography is so beautiful. We felt that Thomas's style was both intimate and classic, exactly what we wanted in a photographer.

Thomas did my engagement ceremony photography. He was very professional and a pleasure to work with. You could tell that he has a passion for what he does and it really shows in the way he works, and more importantly, it shows in the final deliverable. All of my family and friends loved the photos he captured. Oh and did I mention, Thomas' offering was by far the best value I had found. Overall it was an great experience and I can't recommend Thomas' services enough if you have an engagement or wedding coming up.
