Javier has been cutting my hair for years. He always does an incredible job. He's permed it, given me trims, and given me new styles and big chops.
I've been to the salon twice since the beginning of the pandemic. It is always (and always has been) outstandingly clean and sanitary. They have done an incredible job of maintaining a relaxing salon ambience, even given the new COVID precautions.
I'll never go anywhere but Luigi Parasmo Salon!

Luigi is very attentive and seems to care a lot about his customers. He takes the time out of his busy schedule to correct any errors andas you how he’s doing. If you don’t like it, he makes sure to fix it and adjust it to your needs. I had a small issue and he was quick to respond to it. He’s talented and I look forward to his wonderful service again.

I've only been here for cuts and color but I love this place! The customer service is great; everyone is super friendly and they always offer quality beverages (the cappuccino is great!). Everyone from the reception staff, assistants, and stylists here are super warm and welcoming.
I see Sarit for all of my hair needs and she is AMAZING. I'm always in good hands with her. She listens to what I want and when I don't know exactly what I want she gets creative and somehow thinks of the most brilliant ideas.
I definitely recommend coming here!

Probably my best hair styling experience since Paris. Luigi is fantastic. Since my first appointment with him last week, I keep being complimented on my cut and highlights, every day, and even after washing my hair without styling them. My admiring partner described my new cut as "delightfully and gracefully framing my beautiful face". As for me, I was totally impressed by Luigi as I watched him working his magic, in the mirror, during the appointment. 1. Javier was very nice, salon is clean, and everyone is very polite.
2. Keratin treatment is good.
3. One of the worst hair cuts I've ever had. Sloppy and uneven. To Javier's credit, he tried to fix it multiple times, but it just kept getting shorter and worse. I'm stuck with uneven mismatched layers. I don't think I was charged for it in the end, but it was such a disappointment.

Stacy has been my stylist for nearly a year and I wouldn't even think of going elsewhere. Stacy found the perfect color and style that compliments my natural color and skin tone - so much so that I am literally stopped on the street on a regular basis and asked where I go to get my hair done. I've lived in DC for almost 2 years. During that time I think I've gone to about 6 different salons all over, including the blow out places. Have never left happy. Ironically this salon is 10 minutes walking distance from my house and it's EVERYTHING i could've wanted. My first appointment was with Javier. I got a color and a cut. He was meticulous. My cut was perfect and I'm super picky. The color wasn't as dark as I wanted, but it was still great. I don't think I was clear with how dark I wanted it. Next I saw Tasha for a blowout and style. I visited this salon today for the first time since my waxing lady moved here. The salon is absolutely beautiful, clean, and smells amazing. That was the first thing I noticed when I walked it. It didn't smell strange or have that "hair and nail". The spa area was relaxing and quiet and clean as well. The front desk receptionists were also kind and helpful.

1. The customer service is excellent. From the receptionists, shampoo, stylist, and owners. They really go out of their way to ensure you feel important and that your expectations are met.
2. The owner makes an effort to speak with you and get to know you. It's a busy salon with lots of clients. This personal touch goes a long way with me. I've experienced other high end salons who only recognized you based on your status and influence and that annoyed the hell out of me.

I have a TON of experience with blowouts from salons across DC and I can happily recommend KAY from Luigi Parasmo. She did a phenomenal job.
Ladies, I have the thickest, longest, and curliest amount of hair that most highly experience stylists have ever seen. That is why I am critical with my hair salon experiences. Kay used spent about 3 hours blow-drying my hair (average 3.5hrs). She's not slow, I just have THAT much hair.
Here is a list of things she did for me that I really appreciated.

My hair was cut by Ken and what a great cut it is! While Ken and I go back many years, he always makes me feel welcome and asks what type of cut and style I want. He listens and offers guidance and advice. He makes sure that I understand the products he is using and how I should use them to care for my hair. For my curly hair, I won't go anywhere else but to Ken. I always get compliments about my hair, and it is all credit to Ken!

I've been trying different recommended salons across DC lately (Grooming Lounge - YUCK!, Ekti Salon & Spa - not bad) but I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I'd seen a review in GQ or Esquire or Vanity Fair - I can't remember - but I was expecting a lot of ambience but no substance. What I found was quite different.

I'm pretty picky about my hair, and it has taken years to find the stylist that's just right, and knows how to manage my curly unruly hair. Thank heavens for Valerie! She is an artist with an eye that knows cut and color. She leaves me looking and feeling like a million bucks every time I leave the salon.
Overall, the salon has a great set up with a pleasant atmosphere. It's modern, clean, warm, and welcoming. Everyone is super friendly. Very pleased!

This salon was recommended to me by a friend on a couple of occasions - she specifically recommended her stylist, Ky. I finally decided to try it out since her hair always looks amazing.
