(SBN) grows locally propagated native plants for Santa Barbara County restoration and mitigation projects, landscape architects, designers, contractors and the general public. Working closely with clients, Santa Barbara Natives has grown hundreds of thousands of genetically local California native plants since 2003.
SBN also carries a ready inventory of about 100 of the most popular local California native plants. Services
John Warner founded Santa Barbara Natives with his partner Steven "Alac" Anderson in 2003. In March of 2005, Jeff Nighman was invited to become the new partner with John after Alac decided it was time for him to move on. John and Jeff both earned their degrees in Environmental Horticulture from Santa Barbara City College.
