Ehh, it's a pricey little hardware store, as far as the service goes, they are on par with the other run of the mill hardware stores, if I wanted to go to a locally owned store it'd be Pierson's, and if I wanted to go to an ace that was the place I would go to hensels

If you're not a known and respected shopper here they'll send you on wild goose chases and act as if they don't know any better whenever it comes to advice or the know how on a repair job .....and every single item is greatly over priced I mean GREATLY OVER PRICED.....not even worth buying supplies from here cause you'll break even or lose money on a job you were bidding. I'd recommend to anyone to NOT shop here and go to the harbor freight in arcata. For tools at least.

Great dejection in the nursery. A little pricy, but that didn't stop me. Lol. Also, I forgot a weed wacker I purchased at the counter, when I called about it I find out that it was right there waiting for me with my receipt attached. Very nice.

Not very many power tools. I bought a portable band saw (milluakee 18v) from here and wanted to get a replacement blade. The guy literally told me they took the display down and that he didn't feel like going to look to try and find one

Always have what you need , horrible coupons you get them monthly but can never use them cause of the conditions, staff are very kind & helpful you'll get asked 2 or 3 times if you need help., Sales are good But don't apply to coupons.

I don’t mind paying a little higher price for local but the women behind the cash registers that always have long lines need some customer service training. Piersons is a better choice in Eureka because there is nothing else but prepare to pay a lot either way.

I walked in this store with a Pogo stick that had a broken handle. Everyone was so helpful, but Sam in service really was awesome. He listened to what I wanted to do, and added to my ideas. I was so happy to get it all done in one stop. So excited to gift my grandson this Pogo stick. Thank you Sam!

The best part about Ace is that you can get your fun little goodies here but, the part that makes getting your fun little goodies there fun is the staff is always helpful whether they're having a bad day or not they don't put that burden on you and will help to the best of their ability find you what you're looking for. When I ran into an awkward plumbing issue the gentleman there thought outside the box come up with a solution that pass inspection thank you guys 👍
