I couldn’t have asked for better care of my great grandmothers antique loveseat. Beautiful work and great people to work with. They even recommended someone to reupholster the loveseat and it came out beautifully. Just love the update without taking away timepiece.

We had our Dining table,11 chairs,cocktail table and desk refinished last month.Stephen at Southern Woodworks did an amazing job,they were not only on time but on budget.The work was top notch and we couldn’t be happier. From the minute I reached out for an estimate on my wooden trunk the communication was responsive and professional. I had a stain on the top of the trunk that needed to be refinished and I had interest in refinishing the entire trunk. They walked me through the whole process and were very patient with every decision. Once the top was refinished they sent me pictures so I could decide on the next step. I chose to refinish the entire piece and I am so happy with the results! It looks brand new and probably better than it did when it was brand new! The cost estimates were reasonable and they kept

My experience with Southern Woodworks was wonderful! Stephen is incredible and was able to take three pieces of furniture that survived a fire to look even better on the other side. He has a keen attention to detail and an eye for new/better finishes. Should I never be in the position of needing furniture refinished, he will be my first call.

Stephen did a great job milling the edges of some custom doors for us.
The project was too unusual and complex to describe here, but Stephen nailed it (no pun intended). I have better-than-average woodworking skills, and this was completely above my pay grade. I knew it needed someone with professional skills.
His work was excellent -- just what we needed. Turnaround time was reasonable (he knew we weren't in a hurry), and the price was excellent.
I'd definitely go back to Stephen at Southern Woodworks for high-end custom work.

Of all the quotes we received, theirs was the best value and more accurately fit the vibe of what we were trying to accomplish. Katie was in constant contact through every step of the process, from the quote to design and even sent sneak peaks as it was being built. They were very mindful of our budget but never felt like I was compromising on quality or craftsmanship.

My wife and I hired Southern Woodworks to refurbish a hutch that has been in our family for decades. It was in pretty rough shape as it hadn’t received any type of care over the years. Upon completion we were astounded with how great it turned out! We had no idea it could look this good! Had a great experience with this company. We had two night stands and 2 sofa tables refinished. I send pics to Katie whom promptly got back to me with a reasonable quote. She gave me an estimated date for pick up which they honored. We had the pieces back in less time than I expected and the refinishes were perfect. I would not hesitate to recommend them and will not hesitate to use their services again in the future.

Not only did you do a great job with the refinishing project, you willingly came back to make the finish on the table leaves match the rest of the table.
