Dr. Weinberg is a Developmental Optometrist in Louisville providing complete vision care services for the entire family. As a certified licensed optometrist, he provides examinations, diagnoses, and treatments of all disorders and diseases that affect the eyes and vision. In addition to training in eye diseases and disorders, Dr. Weinberg is also trained in developmental or functional optometry.
Proper eye care is important for people of all ages and regular eye exams are encouraged for everyone, but especially for those already using glasses or contact lenses. Your vision plays a vital role in your life each and every day, which is why it is so important to take the right steps for maintaining good eye health.
Dr Weinberg is great. Always extremely professional and when I have a problem he gets me in immediately. Dr. D. Weinberg is exceptional in his knowledge and people skills. I've been his patient for years and will continue to go to him. I trust what he tells me. First time there after a friend's recommendation.
She enjoys reading now when she didn't before. Thank you, Elaine and Advanced Vision of Louisville, for helping my girl love reading and writing. She also suffered from frequent headaches, eyes fatigue easily, discomfort reading for long periods, delayed focus recovery, misreading words and letter reversals.
Nowadays we all seem to be spending more time in front of a computer. Technology is a wonderful thing! The only problem is that working at a computer is stressful on the eyes! And on the neck and shoulders! This is because the vast majority of all computer screen positions do not take ergonomics into consideration (they're not comfortable)!

I've looked long & hard to find good eye doc. Someone who really listens to what the patient says & doesn't decide ½ sentence in that they're clairvoyant & know what I'm about to say. Who doesn't rush & thoroughly explains a new condition to me along with treatment plan. My search is over, I found that doc in Dr Weinberg. I had concerns about going to optometrist until I found out my family doctor (someone who has earned my complete trust over 22 years) takes his entire family there! To me that was best recommendation I could get.

I am very proud and excited to be working at Advanced Vision of Louisville. It is so rewarding helping children suffering with reading, learning and other difficulties in school. Vision therapy changes lives, and it is simply incredible to watch!
We are currently revamping processes to improve the patient experience. It is the patients who have been coming back for 10, 20 and 30+ years that keep us motivated and loving what we do.
