Sooner or later your shut off valves under your kitchen or bathroom sinks will not operate and will not shut off the water. Also you might have a water line to burst unexpectively. Knowing where you main shut off valve is important so you can turn off the water during. With the overnight temperature lows do not forget to close your air vents with houses that have crawlspaces.
This will help lower your heating bill and possibly prevent water lines under your house from freezing and bursting. Also wrap your hose bibs outside fauce. I recommend using stainless steel deck screws to reattach loose deck boards instead of the commonly used nails. Over time nails will back out of the deck boards due to the expansion and contraction from temperature changes.

Services
If you are thinking about rescreening your porch I highly recommend fiberglass over aluminum. The advantages are you are able to see better from inside out, does not cost as much as aluminum, is more flexible and does not get creases. Also plastic lattice and strips are recommended because of its refreshing appearance, durability and low maintenance.
An easy way to reduce your monthly electrical bill is to replace your incandescent bulbs with LED bulbs. LED bulbs provide brighter lighting and are more energy efficient reducing your wattage consumption from 60 to 10 watts. The Dollar Tree sells a package of two 60 watt replacement LED bulbs for one dollar.

Alan was the most responsive home service professional I’ve ever worked with. From the point I contacted him to job completion was only three days. I had two big drawers in a butler’s pantry that needed to be fixed and a smart thermostat that I needed to have installed. He fixed a loose door handle without me even asking. Would highly recommend him. Friendly, professional and very reasonably priced. Most importantly, knocked some things off our home to-do list that had been there for way too long.

It was a pleasure having Alan working at our home. He's very professional and knowledgeable. I definitely learned a few things and had great conversations while he worked. There were a couple of hiccups, but God willing, it all worked out in the end🙏. Now we have nice ceiling fans everywhere. Having Alan do the work out our house was like having one of your friends helping you. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a handyman. He's a straight shooter and a good guy. We will definitely be using his services again. Thank you Alan! 👍
