Food is great, portions were very filling atmosphere is really nice too. The prices aren't bad either definitely gonna be a repeat customer here, had spicy steak, grilled chicken and a shrimp taco, they were perfect

Just ate here today for the first time and it was wonderful. Food was great. Server was great. Price was good.

Honestly it was just OK have had alot better from other places around the area. Having to build my own tacos lol and meat was bland

If I could leave no stars I would. I stood there for ten minutes waiting while employees refused to even acknowledge me. When one finally walked over he was extremely rude and walked off while I was talking. They aren't worth your time.

Great place to go for Mexican. Get a lot of food, can't say you didn't get enough.

I would recommend it to everyone. Has a very nice full bar inside as well. Prices are reasonable. Great for you and a love one or the whole family. Maybe hard to find.. located right next door to Buffalo wild wings.

Food is great, server was great. My husband and I loved this place. Very clean, which I appreciate. Honestly, most places do not take the time to be as thouro as this place is. Will be going back :)

Instantly one of my favorite Mexican food places in NW Indiana (second only to El Bracero in Michigan City). There is a other La Cabana in Valparaiso that looks prettier than this one, but the service here is a thousand times better. If you're in Portage and looking for good food with great service, go here!

The Chips and Salsa are really good here. They bring them out throughout your visit! My girlfriend and I ordered a 38oz Lime Margarita On The Rocks and it was also really good. We ordered the Fajitas La Cabaña to share.
The Fajitas came out filled in the tray with Chicken, Steak, Chorizo, and Vegetables. The portion-size was plentiful and the quality was good, too. The rice was alright.
The service was good throughout and they got us everything we needed. Our waitress brought things in a timely manner.
Overall, I really enjoyed it here and I’d like to come back in the future.

This will be second visit here! The salsa is great the carne asada was good but the beans and rice missed an authentic feel to them. Service was excellent. Try their horchata its really good!

Went to the one in Portage. The atmosphere is pleasant, sat in a booth. They have tables and a bar too. Ordered the caviche for an appetizer. Give it a 2/5 because the shrimp were chopped up instead of whole. It seemed like there were more veggies than shrimp. Ordered the pineapple fajita, the Cabana fajita (shrimp, chicken and chorizo with veggies), and a chalupa ( only one I ever had was at taco Bell, so I wanted to see what it was really like).
