DJ BZ (Brian Heady, owner) became a dJ when he was 21 and he is now in his early 40's! That is almost 20 years experience in the entertainment industry. He has done everything from Clubs in Las Vegas to pool parties in Miami and finally weddings in Wilmington, NC and surrounding areas. After working for several other Wedding DJ companies locally, He finally began his own Wedding DJ and Events DJ company "Regal Events DJ".

Regal Events DJ did a fantastic job in helping our big day run smoothly! Brian and his team are quick to respond, very professional, and know what they are doing. Brian answered any questions we had and customized the playlist for the reception to include the many songs requested by guests. Friends and family danced all night long thanks to the fun music and entertainment provided by Brian and his team. Definitely recommend!

Regal Events DJ Services was such a joy to work with. The hardest part of the wedding planning was music for the groom and I. We wanted to music to be perfect, we met in college and had a lot of are frat/sorority friends at the wedding and wanted to have fun and keep the dance floor moving all night. Gino was the guy!! He played fun upbeat music, took request, and made sure to play songs to keep people dancing. Everybody had such a good time all night long. Regal Events sent out a wonderful guide to help us pick all our music and helped create a timeline to make the evening run smoothly and worked

We hired Regal for a non-traditional wedding where we read our vows and then had a reception. They helped us create a timeline, the music was great, they provided microphones and speakers... it was awesome! They were also very sweet people and really made us feel comforted because they were professional and dependable.

Brian was amazing to work with from start to finish! Choosing Regal as our DJ for our wedding was simple. Regal Entertainment did such a wonderful job with our wedding that was held in Downtown Wilmington! Brian and his team's communication from day 1 has always been speedy and efficient! My husband and I definitely have different tastes in music- but Brian was able to channel both our tastes into the wedding reception absolutely flawlessly. They did a wonderful job with the timeline of the evening and we received numerous compliments on the music. You can't go wrong with booking Regal Entertainment!

My husband and I booked Regal Events to DJ for our wedding reception. We began our communication and coordination with Brian and Sheila. They were so easy to communicate with. Not only did they respond very quickly to my emails, but they were willing to meet in person to discuss all of our final plans for the wedding. Matt was our DJ for the wedding and he was amazing! Not only did he have all the music we requested (and we had some not-so-well-known songs requested) but he even made a mashup of a song for my husband just from learning from the music we had selected. I absolutely recommend Brian of Regal Events as a DJ. I thoroughly enjoyed my time working with him at my sweet 16 party in June of 2017. He is dependable and incredibly hardworking. I could tell that they truly cared about making my party awesome. Regal Events was very accommodating and flexible. Brian worked with my incredibly picky music taste and even showed me a few songs that I fell in love with. It was very clear that Brian understood music. He was creative and had good taste, always playing the right song at the right time, as well as having wonderful lighting shows.
