SunRays Sunglass Center is a veteran-owned Business founded in 2007 by Scott and Shannon Goode. We offer a vast collection of sunglasses and optical frames as well as repair and consultation services. Scott is a third-generation licensed optician with 35 plus years of experience, and Shannon has over 35 years of retail management experience and runs and operates SunRays.
Have a prescription? SunRays can add your Rx to the majority of our frames, sunglasses included. We offer a variety of lens options, coatings, and manufacturers to choose from, including a local lab for a quick and easy turnaround. Just bring in your script or call us and we'll help you fax it over.

Damian is extremely knowledgeable about sunglasses; brands, styles, lenses, etc. He also has a keen eye for which frames fit your face. On vacation and wanted a nice pair of Costa sunglasses. Shannon that works there hooked me up and I love them. She was so professional and new exactly what I was looking for! After a few days I had a small defect and she took care of it right away! Such a wonderful and helpful optical store! Highly recommend! Thanks Sun Rays!

Amazing service. They were very helpful and quick. We are from out of town and we had a a pair of glasses break. There was no way to fix them so they found several frames that would work with the lenses. We were on our way in about an hour! Everyone in the store was pleasant and helpful. A million thank yous 🙏

Got a pair of prescription Tiffanys and some regular prescription glasses that I love. They came back in surprisingly fast and I'm liking the blue light lenses a lot so far. They helped me match my face shape since I have no idea what looks good on me and were honest about what looked good and what didn't. They also didn't try to push expensive brands on me which was nice even though I ended up with a fancy pair. I came back in again last week with a bucket full of glasses and Kathleen adjusted all of them no questions asked, even if almost all of them I'd bought somewhere else. She's a hoot!

Sold me the junkiest sunglesses I've ever had. I'll admit, they weren't Maui Jim or Costa sunglasses; but they did cost me over $30 bucks. I go fishing the next day with my brother, it was choppy and I got a little sea spray in the face. Go to wipe my glasses with a rag, and the blue polarized surface wipes off with the salt water. So now I'm left with water droplet shaped spots where there is no polarization on the lens. And of course they were closed as I swung by on my way out of town due to the holiday. So now I'm stuck with the $30 piece of plastic garbage. I get that you get what you pay

I have been a customer of Sun Rays since 2011. I have purchased 4 pairs of glasses during that time, and have have had 3 sets of lenses in one of those pairs. 3 pairs of Sunglasses, and one pair of clear lenses in RayBan frames. ALL pairs have had prescription trifocal lenses.
I have been very impressed by the Great Customer Service, and Attention to details. The quality of the RayBan frames is Top Shelf Superior to any other frames I've tried in the past decade. Best experience you can have buying sunglasses! This was my 1st pair of "real" sunglasses & I was a little overwhelmed when I first walked in. The associates who helped me (the Optometrist, I can't remember her name!) & Damian were great. They helped me figure out what I was looking for & narrow down my selection pretty quickly & easily.
