Services
Take a look at these original Arne Jacobsen Swan Chairs from 1958. These chairs were found in an old barn by someone that knew what they were. Both of these chairs were damaged nearly to the point no return. We completely restored them to their full luster in fine leather. For those that do not know about these chairs, they are made from Styrofoam and have to be blind stitched by hand around the entire chair.

We had our 10 year old Pottery Barn couch reupholstered here and it surpassed all expectations! It looks better than when it did new. We provided the fabric and they picked it up and brought it back three weeks later. The attention to detail is remarkable. They replaced the springs in the couch and so it both looks and feels new. Incredible.

Jim H. did a fantastic job. I have a leather chair that was passed down to me from my Grandfather. It was a beautiful Ethan Allen chair from the 1960's. It was well used and it took a long time for me to finally decide to recover it. It has tremendous sentimental value, plus it's a high end chair. I met with Jim and instantly knew he was qualified. I've been in wood furniture industry for 20+ years so I had an idea what skills to look for. I got the chair back and it is gorgeous and comfortable, back to original. Thanks Jim and your professional employees that were so nice.

I have just received my upholstered chair and ottoman from Jim. The workmanship is exceptional, and exactly as I imagined. The ottoman was made from scratch by Jim to my specifications. It is perfect.

J's upholstery did a fantastic job on replacing the old foam/spring cushions with new foam cushions for our broyhill sectional sofa. We were more than pleased with the cushions we had reupholstered. They were more comfortable than the originals, and the color was perfect. The workmanship was fabulous. It looks like brand new furniture! The price was more reasonable than buying from the place we bought the wicker set from originally. We highly recommend J's Upholstery.

I couldn't be happier with the quality of work and service! I don't know why we waited so long to have a custom window seat cushion made. Jim's passion for his art shows through in his work. He suggested if enough fabric was left after the cushion was made that he also make a large bolster pillow. I took Jim's advice and am happy I did. The cushion and bolster soften up the entire room and bring it together. He is friendly, professional and a joy to work with. I will be recommending him without hesitation. My mother gave me an antique settee years ago, which was covered in red velvet. The wood had been stained a dark black, and several pieces of the wood detailing were missing. I contacted Jim, spoke with him about my vision for the piece, and they came and picked the settee up. Six weeks later I had the settee back. It is absolutely beautiful. He refinished the wood working, replaced the lost pieces of wood, and recovered it in the material I had supplied. It doesn't even look like the same piece of furniture. I love it.
