Dr. Allen Seel called Michigan his home for his entire life, and called Gentle Dental Associates home for more than 18 years. His passion for comprehensive care, with an emphasis on cosmetic dentistry and smile makeovers, was his trademark as our senior dentist.
Dr. Seel did his undergraduate work at the University of Detroit for three years before being accepted to the dental program at the University of Detroit School of Dentistry from which he graduated in 1962.He then became an associate in a practice in Detroit for eight months before he started his own practice in Dearborn in 1963.

Being a dentist has been an extremely satisfying profession. When I think about what I do for my patients to improve their lives, both physical and emotionally, I feel rewarded. Dr. Young Kim has been practicing the art and science of dentistry for more than 20 years.
He attended the University of Michigan School of Dentistry for his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, and has continually updated his education in order to provide the very best care for his patients.Dr. Kim spent the first 15 years of his life in South Korea, after which he moved to New York City. He currently lives in Ann Arbor with his wife, two sons, and mother.

Dr. Ronald Lechner has been with Gentle Dental Associates since its inception in 1991. He graduated from the University of Detroit school of Dentistry in 1981. As the son of a dentist and brother to a dentist and dental hygienist, passion for dentistry runs in his blood. In our practice, Dr. Lechner is referred to as the "Master of Numbness" because of his delivery technique for anesthesia.
Dr. Wang graduated magna cum laude from University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor's degree in chemistry in 1997. She completed her dental education at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, graduating with a DDS in 2001. She has been attending many continuing education courses focusing on Invisalign, root canals, and cosmetic treatment.

Had a great experience with getting my crown recemented. I had a crown put on over 2 years ago and fell off while flossing. Dr. Kuthiala answered my questions, did great work and I left feeling cared for. The reason I gave it 4/5 is because of her assistant digitally x-raying my teeth several times before getting a sufficient image. I am concerned about being exposed to unnecessary radiation exposure and not exaggerating, I was x-rayed over 6 times in the same area. If anyone in management reads this, I suggest having a meeting with your team to help guide and streamline a patient visit and ensure

This place is terrible! My daughter was over sedated with nitrous and now I am at the ER with her. This is not her normal dentist whom I adore , especially after this place. Our family dentist was full and could not get her in. She has a phobia of the dentist and this is only going to make it worse. This has never happened before , until this place.

Dr. Hwang & her assistant Doreen are a fantastic team. They changed my apprehension & fear of the dentist into a confidence & comfort we all deserve to feel when getting work done. Her soft touch while giving shots, speedy yet thorough work, and using a tool to hold my mouth open rather than having to do so myself, really changed the game for me. I left with a smile and not feeling anxious for my next visit, which I’m grateful for.

I had a lovely experience at Gentle Dental. My bridge had fallen off and I also had a toothache. They gave me an appointment for the next day! Then, an hour later, they called and said someone had cancelled their appointment and I rushed over. My dentist and her assistant were WONDERFUL—and so were the clerks. Been going here for years, and feel comfortable with them. They are careful about CDC safety protocols for staff and clients. They use water to help clean teeth prior to using the scraper.This makes cleanings more bearable. They accept Care Credit which can be helpful. Diverse staff which helps the business seem more welcoming.

Dr. Lacin is simply the BEST! She is always kind, patient, and thorough. My kids LOVE seeing her and going to the dentist is no longer a "chore" for them. I've been with Dr. Lacin for 2 procedures now, she's good, very patient and has a nice personality. The staff have a great customer/patient appreciation. They explain everything to you prior to anything and very courteous. Now if I could just remember my very first hygienists/assistant, she was the best out of the ones I got so far.
The place is clean. The front desk people could be nicer, but their tolerable. Over all good experience.

I had a crown that was done by a previous dentist only 2 years ago,I will not bash her at this time but her work is terrible,,anyway I had a crown literally fall out of my mouth last sat. And I was mortified! I called a few places and came across gentle dental..they said come in at 3:00 ,I was so grateful and scared, but the staff was so nice,the dentist I think his name was dr. Kim came in said hi,took an xray to make sure my real tooth was ok,,cleaned my crown,,,sealed in it,,and I was happily on my way..I will be going back there for sure!

I have been a patient here for over 10 years, and so have my husband and daughter. The team has always been great at informing us of the costs of procedures and work well with our insurance, Delta Dental. After a few frustrating experiences with a crown that took several remakes to seat properly, etc, I learned to ask for a dentist with over 5 years of experience. My busy week schedule made weekend appointments necessary and I rarely had to have an appointment during the week since there are always several docs on staff. Emergencies also have been well covered.

My first appointment took forever, which I can look past. It happens.. but, then the dentist I saw told me to sit tight for an hour because the other dentist coming in knew more about root canals & he wanted him to take a look. It was much longer than an hour I had to wait. I finally popped my head out to see what was taking so long. I was told the doctor I was waiting for didn't have time to see me, so they wanted to refer me out to a root canal specialist. I was not interested in a root canal, I just wanted the tooth pulled. I've been to Gentle Dental for two check-ups over the past two years and have worked with two dentists and two hygienists. Scheduling the appointment was easy and they have Saturday hours (always a plus). I think they made the dental experience as pleasant as dental experiences can be.
The dentists I worked with are Dr. Dagostin and Dr. Neha Kuthiala, both were skilled dentists.
Jaime and Pat were my hygienists, both were very friendly and skilled as well.
