Chee Peng is a place where you can relax and enjoy a memorable meal with your family and friends. The food is some of the best I've ever had at a Amercian/Chinese restaurant. If you find yourself in Freemont, you need to check this place out. One of the things I feel a need to mention is that the food on the buffet is put out in small quantities. This is important because the quality is high. It shows that this place cares about its food.

Ordered Mongolian beef, sesame chicken and pork lo mein. There was raw onion in the sesame chicken. There was no green onion in the Mongolian beef and it looked and tasted more like pork than beef. The lo mein was made using ramen noodles and it was SWIMMING in so much sauce that it ran into all of the other food on the plate. And NONE of it has any actual flavor!! It’s as if somebody watered it all down.
I wouldn’t eat here again. I can find better Chinese food in the frozen section at Walmart.

Went here with some friends and it was very gloomy, the lighting was very poor and there was no music, It almost felt like you had to whisper because everyone in the whole place could here you talk. The food wasn’t bad the place could turn around with two easy things, lighting and music. It doesn’t seem like much but you sit in a dark and quiet room when you go to bed not when you go out to eat with friends

I gave this a 3 star based solely on the service, the food was absolutely delicious and I'd have to say i would go back but the waitress was so distant and unfriendly it was astonishing.
I believe the reason I actually stayed seated was just to see if Hopefully, possibly she'd get somewhat friendly.
Nope I was Wrong, even after MANY Please, thank you, yes please, etc she acted like it was too much trouble.
Here's the kicker... my mom and I were the Only Ones in the sitting area.
I'd call that, horrible service even if the food was good.

First time trying this restaurant tonight and never will again. The food was awful. We couldn't even finish it and neither could our kids, and we ended up throwing it away. I have never heard of lo mein noodles being just simply Ramen noodles swimming in a bath of soy sauce. The entrees my husband and I had were all lacking flavor and the sweet and sour chicken was undercooked. Avoid our mistake and never get your food from here. Yuck! 🤢

I have never really liked egg drop soup, until I tried it here tonight. I ordered Mongolian beef, one of my favorites, and it was done to perfection! A very sizable amount almost heaping off my plate, with a… full bowl of rice and crab rangoons to die for. I am stuffed and happy! And my bill was cheaper than if I had went through the drive thru. My waitress was very personable and professional, and checked on me several times while I was there. Overall I am very impressed by this local establishment, and I will be returning with my family and friends!
