George John Goetzinger and Eleanor Goetzinger opened their doors for business in 1933. The first abstract was produced in May of that year. George was from Beaver, Oklahoma, and Eleanor was from Stillwater, Oklahoma. They settled in Woodward, Oklahoma, because it was halfway in between both of their hometowns.
