We met while in high school in Paris where we lived most of our lives. 10 years ago, we decided to make a life change and moved with our family to Tahiti. In the South Pacific, we lived extraordinary moments while visiting the French Polynesia and other surrounding countries. We fell in love with the "Pacific Mind".
Cactus and succulents are California native plants, drought tolerant, storing water in various structures such as leaves and stems. Their striking and unusual appearance makes these beautiful plants a great and exclusive ornament for all occasions. They will perfectly fit in a sunny garden or in a bright room of your house.
Each eco-pochi is handmade from safe and natural Japanese materials: black bamboo charcoal or gray volcanic ash from a Japonese island. No soil is used in the eco-pochi, the plant grows by absorbing nutrients from the pot, making it easy to clean and care for. An eco-pochi is a natural, eco-friendly way to bring a touch of style to your home or your office.

My favorite part about coming to La Belle is there is always something new to see. It is my favorite nursery on the west side. Parking is always easy (yess!) and the staff is happy to help you load up your car with any purchases. They have the most beautiful selection of pots around and their selection of cacti and indoor plants is impressive as well. What stands out is the quality of all the plants, materials and service. The prices may be higher than your typical Home Depot but the quality of the plant and pot is much higher. A huge bonus is they'll pot your new plant right there for you

I've been to this store twice, picked up plants on both occasion, yet, the experience I had has been hit or miss.
On my first visit, I wandered the store for a good 10-20 min with nobody once approaching me to ask if I needed help (which I did). I ended up having to look for someone to let them know I'm ready to check out.
On my second visit, I had low expectations, but was surprised that the service was good: I was greeted, and was checked on. When I selected my plants and vase, and was ready to check out, they were prompt on potting the plant and even assisted with getting it

I've read over most of these reviews and honestly that was the reason I had decided to walk over fr
Santa Monica (my husband and myself just relocated to SM after a decade in NYC) to la belle nursery! I was really excited to see there array of planters. I went solo and took a long walk from SM to Venice to pick up lunch for my fam @the Win~Dow on Rose and then circle back on my way home to La belle. I certainly didn't have the same experience everyone else was raving abt. The guy working there seemed annoyed when i asked for assistance and even tried to put away the items i was debating

Plants (and flowers) makes me happy. La Belle is a very cute nursery with a variety of selections. The staff is helpful when you ask; otherwise you can roam around and they won’t bother you. They helped me put this apartment entrance number together, potted it, and carried it to my car :) They also gave me plenty of instructions on water and care. I’ll certainly consider this place for more green happiness! ❤️ 🌱 🌵☘️🌳

I was hoping to buy a dangling plant of some sort and an air plant for my bookshelf, as well as a floor plant for my living room, and a large monstera for my bedroom. I found most of what I needed. However, I was struggling to find a pot in the store that could fit the plant I wanted for my living room. I also needed help getting down the dangling plant I was interested in.

It is a great shop because the staff are very good and helpful and the delivery team are awesome. Enjoy going there and looking around - again the workers on the ground are fantastic. Have never interacted w the owners who are generally on site but don't engage w customers in my experience.
BUT...
I bought several of the large VERY EXPENSIVE white pots with the saucer dishes to put under them... And they leaked and sweated moisture through and literally destroyed my hardwood floors!
My bad for assuming that cost equals quality - I assumed they would be well made and safe to use and I did

This place is great! I love it! So far I've brought in 6 plants I found at the 99 cent store to be repotted and fertilized here at La Belle. Their prices are fair and the customer service is amazing! I met Charles the first day, and then I have had the pleasure of working with Jake my other two visits. They were both very personable, but I had more time to talk with Jake and he has been nothing but helpful, patient, social, and really fair. Very helpful and friendly staff! Patiently answered all my questions as a novice & even repotted a rubber plant I had purchased previously with new soil. I can't say enough good things about La Belle. The staff is beyond nice and so knowledgeable. I only buy my plants from here. All the plants I've gotten from here have thrived. They do have a limited selection of smaller house plants. But the level of service at Le Belle is far beyond any other plant store in this area.

So this is my go-to plant place now!!! I have been to over 6 places and this is a place I feel very at home... great selection, quality plants and fair prices! Jake is so helpful! I think we know each other now bc I have gone about 4 times in the last 2 weeks this shut down has opened my eyes to many plants.... the collection of plant babies they have great indoor plants, as well as outdoor, cactus and cute succulents! I've gotten great small cement planters there too-- they've planted every plant I have gotten from there.

I'm not going to lie: I avoid boutiquey-looking plant stores like the plague. I've have it in my mind that there's nothing to expect other than a 8x markup on generic products and advice That my black thumb could never possibly follow. Great plant shop in Venice. They have a good selection of succulents and plants, and a great collection of pots as well. They can pot your plants for you as well, which makes it a great place for gifts (or clumsy gardeners!) The selection isn't huge and they are quite pricey, but it is a solid option and the staff are very nice and helpful.
