Many of our patients are transferred to Tulsa from other healthcare facilities that are unable to handle these complex fractures. Orthopedic & Trauma Service of Oklahoma is available around the clock because serious accidents and complex bone injuries don't adhere to any schedule.
We practice and cover orthopedic trauma at St. John Medical Center and St. Francis Health System in Tulsa, and some surgeries are done at Oklahoma Surgical Hospital. We also specialize in complex cases with non-unions, infection, bone loss, segmented defects and mal-unions. Often, we get referrals from physicians in the OK-MO-KS-AR region for cases that require additional surgery to repair those fractures that just won't heal.

We know that no one likes waiting at a doctor's office, especially when you or a loved one is hurting. To speed up the process, we have added the forms for new patients to our website to make your visit more efficient. Please feel free to download, print and bring these forms with you to your visit.
Three options: Call "Billing" with a payment, pay through eStatements or your portal account or mail a check with your monthly paper statement. Most major medical plans including but not limited to: Medicare, SoonerCare, UHC, BCBS, Community Care, Aetna, Cigna, HealthChoice. The best way to know this is to check your insurance website or call the number on the back of your card.
The physicians of Orthopedic & Trauma Services of Oklahoma also sponsor and teach the Trauma Fellowship of Oklahoma, a one year fellowship for residents who have graduated from an accredited orthopedic surgery residency program. The Fellow is a University of Oklahoma College of Medicine employee with University resident benefits.

Dr. Norris and staff are the best ! My first meeting with Dr. Norris was in St. Francis Recovery after many surgeries,at that time I didn't even know if I was going to live, or walk again ! I had been run over twice and had a crushed Body! Dr. Norris with his gifted skills put me back together,crushed sacrum was in 30 pieces amongst many other broken bones, ribs, clavical,sternum,muscles torn off leg,ect... after many surgeries, and therapy, I am able to walk again!!! Thank you Dr. Norris and staff! I have a lot more to say, but I will sum it up, my trust and confidence in Dr. Norris and staff

Everyone!! Front desk, nurses, x-ray techs Dr Assistants and Doctors are all amazing!!! I'd recommend this place without hesitation. I was scared going in as I had a horrible experience at Advanced Orthopedics but this place has made me feel comfortable even when telling me no on something. Very friendly and respectful!!!!

Orthopedic & Trauma Services is the best! Our experience with Dr.Paul Stafford, and his nurse Hannah, was absolutely wonderful. From beginning to end of needing their help and care for my son's broken elbow, and busted growth plate, I couldn't have asked for any better. Thank you to all who work there.
