Bald guy seemed really rude, belittled me with minute expressions about not knowing my part number was under the rusted portion of the cog. Heard he really messed up the diagnosis of a friend's repair and did not complete the job. I will never return to this location because of the way my peer and myself were treated.

I called about getting my Craftsman/MTD leaf blower serviced under warranty. He was very short with me on the phone and said I can buy another one for like $130 bucks. Said he didn't see it was worth his time to work on it at $75 hr or even give me a non repair form so I could exchange at Lowes. Poor customer service skills and I can't give any opinion on their work.

If I could leave negative stars or zero stars I would. I am BEYOND dissatisfied with this place. I took my lawn mower to them in February and here we are end of April. They told me in March that it was done (after I called them), I picked it up, took it home, it didn't work so the next day I brought it back. Another month goes by. I call again. They tell me they cant fix it and refuse to refund any of the $112 I already paid. The guy on the phone was extremely rude, was literally yelling at me so loudly that my husband took the phone away and told him not to scream at his wife. Screaming at your

The only reason I am giving 1 star is because yelp won't let you post with zero stars.
I wonder how these guys make it as a business. Their customer service level is on par with what you would expect at Volusia County Jail on visitation day.
Even the way these guys answer the phone with "yeah" not a "hello" or "can I help you". This makes me think it is a prank but it's not. Believe me!

I don't give out bad reviews easily. In fact, I've always been able to find one redeeming quality in most all business. But as a retailer myself for 40 years I can say with some authority that A-1 Mower is at, or at least very near, the bottom of the pack in customer service. Allow me to share my experience;

These guys are indeed A-1 and first class. I have bought 3 used parts (a pull-starter, a stater/coil and a chainsaw blade) from them on 3 separate occasions and they are 1/4th the price of new parts but work like new. Staff are always polite and professional and they don't look down on me for wanting to buy used and they don't try to sell me something that I don't need.
