Gladstone Psychiatry and Wellness is a new psychiatry and counseling center with a chief mission of providing quality psychiatric care for Maryland residents who want to use their insurance benefits. Our small team of experienced psychiatrists is dedicated to spending as much time as patients need to have their issues understood.
First appointments with a psychiatrist are typically one hour long; follow-up visits are thirty-minutes. If needed, a nurse-specialist handles coordination of care between a patient's primary care doctor, pharmacist, insurance company, and designated family members. Even though we prescribe medications, we see treatment for mental health and addiction problems as including many things beyond medicine.

Services
Group therapy can be a wonderful alternative or supplement to individual therapy and medication. Gladstone is currently offering a group for those who are dealing with ongoing stress, anxiety and depression. We have created a calm and safe space where you can talk about the struggles you face openly with others who share the same difficulties.
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) combines strategies from behavioral, cognitive, and other supportive psychotherapies. It was created by Dr. Marsha Linehan specifically to treat borderline personality disorder, and over time it has shown to be effective with many other mental health issues. By design, DBT helps people who have difficulty regulating their emotions, handling relationships, and tolerating distress.
From front desk staff to clinicians, we work as a collaborative team at Gladstone Psychiatry and Wellness, committed to ensuring an environment that promotes sanctuary and healing. This means treating people with dignity and respect as well as understanding a person is more than just a disease state.
We mourn the senseless death of George Floyd. Moreover, the lives of all African American men, women and children are of value and thus matter. We at Gladstone stand in solidarity with all the many people of color across the country impacted by more than 400 years of racism. We need more than reassurances and military policing from our leaders.

I am writing this experience as one who refers to Gladstone as I have no experience receiving their services. As a private practitioner, I continually receive feedback from my patients that their appointments are canceled. It seems appointments are booked so far in advance, there is no guarantee the physician will be present on the appointment day. One patient was finally scheduled for a telehealth visit but could not log into the portal. She called the number on file for help but no one answered and she was left on hold for 20 minutes. I know there are some wonderful providers here and I hope

I actually want to laugh at how frustrating this company can be. They never answer the phone, never call you back, never respond to emails. Just extremely unorganized. I stopped going here over two years ago when the billing department tried to tell me I have over 700$ in fees that was never told to me, never once mailed, or anything. I tried to take care of it over the phone and the office sent me to the "billing" person. After talking to her for two days, the third day I was told she quit and they had someone new. I left a message in the portal to schedule an appointment and waited, apparently my provider is no longer there but I only found out by looking at the site. Tried several times to call, was on hold for 20 mins each time and selected call back. I cant have my phone on me 24/7 so it was playing phone tag.
Very disappointed with the customer service to say the least. People struggling with debilitating mental health issues shouldnt have to good through this. and calling the ER and spending thousands for a an issue that can be handled with a call to your provider isnt really viable or sustainable

I was referred to Gladstone by my PCP. I tried several times to contact them for an appointment but no one ever answered the phone. I also left voicemails and sent emails, but received no response. You would think a mental health facility would be better about connecting with persons seeking help. I warn anyone seeking urgent care to go elsewhere. Do better Gladstone.

Gladstone office provides cutting edge care and experts in the field like Anthony Massey and Vonetta Davis to the Baltimore area. Vonetta Davis is the absolute. Her multiple specialties allow her to treat at a very,very personalized medication level but also allows care for large groups looking for a solution. She actually THINKS and PROCESSES what you are saying. First doctor I have ever truly been honest with about everything.She advocates and goes above and beyond where others are not willing to do so or take longer than the government to get an answer. I scheduled an appointment weeks ago and after getting a reminder for it, my appointment got cancelled. Morgan claims I called and cancelled it myself when I never called. Quite concerning that these people are allowing others to cancel their patients appointments. Either that- or they’re lying to their patients. Extremely rude staff. Will not be rescheduling with them and would absolutely not recommend.

Horrible. called 4 times. first time they said they would call me back by the end of the day. no one did. I left 4 messages no one returned them. finally called one last time and someone answered and said they never received them. i called the only number i have. if the people who answer the phone don not direct me to the correct place that is not my fault. however not receiving calls back and being lied to before even making an appointment is terrible and an awful inclination of what would come next. awful that a place like this does this especially when they are needed the most. so sad and very

I've been in psychiatry for the better part of 10 years, and have never had as many difficulties as i have had with this particular practice, despite only being a patient of their for 2 of those 10 years. The front desk staff is rude, inefficient, and lacking all customer service skills. I've had to fight for medication refills, and have the pharmacy contact them directly because they refused to believe me when I advised that the pharmacy did not have a refill request on file. Did they say the'd call you back? Don't hold your breath. The location is inconvenient, the parking is inconvenient. The

For close to 20 years, I was on a prescribed regimen for anxiety and hyper somnolence.. Well last summer, I noticed some changes in my emotional and mental health. I was overdue to have my medication monitored. My Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Fabius Santos, I instantly developed a positive rapport with him. Gladstone is wonderful. The receptionist staff members are always kind, welcoming and helpful. I see Fabius Santos for my care and he is fantastic. He helped me with the challenging process of tapering off an SSNRI to find a safer medicine that is a better fit for me. He looked at my care as a whole picture, taking into consideration my many medical issues when helping me find a new medication. I feel very comfortable with him and I'm really grateful to be a patient of his. Very happy I went to Gladstone!
