Chiell was an amazing support through every step of this wedding journey! Our wedding was the BEST time, everything I wanted and MORE, and I would not have been able to do it without her. Working a full-time job and having to plan a wedding at the same time was overwhelming for me (add in that our wedding guest count was originally 225 plus we pushed back due to the pandemic!).
She made sure we had scheduled video meetings and had a specific timeline each time to make sure we covered all of our planning points. She'd follow up on points I'd forgotten about and at the end of every meeting reassured me it was all going to come together in the end. Throughout it all, she was VERY patient with our decision-making, helpful in advice, and had design boards and vendors all for us to review.

It's pronounced "shell " like a seashell, I know that's different! My parent's cleverly put their names together along with my grandfather and lovingly created, Chiell Ann. I know, SO Filipino! I was born and raised in Los Angeles and currently live in Irvine, CA. Graduated from UC Irvine (zot zot!) in 2008 and worked my way up the corporate ladder until I was ready to break my glass ceiling.
You've planned everything on your own to the T! We will take over the rest of the plans at the 1-2 month countdown and fill in any missing pieces. You have all your vendors booked, timeline, layout and decor ready to go. You maybe have half the planning down, still missing some of your main vendors and need someone to help you make final decisions.

Love and Life Events are so fantastic to work with! Chiell, Rania and Nina were AMAZING! They were incredible organized prior to the wedding by making me fill out excel sheets on guests, tables, inventory, timeline, etc. They helped coordinate all my vendors on my wedding day and helped us stay on time with photos, dinner, speeches, performances, etc. Chiell also helped me make signs for all the tables, rent table number signs, and let me rent the copper Welcome Sign, which ended up being more affordable than buying one. What a great time! Highly recommend!

I met Chiell back in 2019 when I initially started planning my April 2020 wedding. She was so friendly and easy to talk to, and really took the time to listen to my ideas during our initial call. It was clear to me after that first conversation that I needed her to be our wedding coordinator.
Fast forward to early 2020 -- California went into quarantine just a month prior to my wedding. Lucky me! Ultimately, we had to postpone and reschedule our wedding twice but from quotes to contracts, she was there for us every step of the way. I worked with Chiell on a Bridal Shower Event and she did not disappoint and lived up to all the expectations. Some of the highlights: amazing attention to detail, on time, easy to work with and super friendly. She definitely can put a theme together with little details and make it into a whole vibe with a color scheme. I loved that it was also super modern twist on a bridal tea party shower. Definitely would hire again!

We found Love and Life events last year on Instagram. Chiell helped us plan for almost a year our outdoor Microwedding in Santa Barbara. It was a dream come true and the "Pinterest wedding of our dreams."Despite all the accommodations we asked for such as, organizing seating and family photos to avoid family conflicts, Chiell was very understanding and sensitive to our needs. Without even having to ask, Chiell was in communication with all of our vendors to make sure everything ran smoothly on the big day. Look no further! You are at the right place if you are looking for an event planner. Just like many others, I scrolled through reviews and photos on every event planner's profile on Yelp and came across Chiell's. When the reviews are calling her a "godsend", "an angel", "amazing", "flawless" and "magical", I was skeptical at first like "WOW! Are these written by her friends and family!" I only had 4-5 days to plan a last min celebration, taking a leap of faith, I reached out to her.

Planning a wedding during a pandemic is pretty rough but Chiell is an absolute godsend. She helped me out through so many setbacks, and helped make sure our whole wedding day went so smoothly. She and her assistant (Lily? Emily? I am terrible with names, sorry!) helped clean up and put away some of our decor for our DIY wedding too which was a HUGE help and even decorated our honeymoon suite so beautifully with rose petals and the extra floral we had. I was a vendor for the same event in January. I was doing video for a bride and groom and they were planning the event. They were so organized, very professional, punctual, on top of every detail, and so pleasant to work with. The event ran smoothly and they made my life easier by giving me a detailed timeline as well as all the contacts of important people way in advance so that we could do our job to the best of our ability. I got to work with Chiell and her team this past Saturday (1/4/2020) and I was blown away by her friendliness, professionalism and ability to adapt when unexpected changes occurred! Chiell is one of the nicest and most helpful people I've met, and my husband and I are eternally grateful for her help with planning and coordinating our wedding! We hired Chiellabrate Events for our August 2019 Santa Barbara wedding, as a full service planner with a year to prepare for our big event. Emily and her team were amazing! I thought I had it all down, with plenty of time to plan, but it got down to the wire and I was in panic mode. Emily kept in great communication with me to help reassure that we were all good, it is soooo important to be able to rely on someone for your special day! I can't thank them enough, it was the most "lit" wedding, especially with a guest count of over 400, we couldn't have done it without Chiellabrate!
