In addition to making sure professionals are sufficiently educated and trained to perform their jobs in the field, the CSIA believes it is equally important (if not more so) that professionals who wish to hold a CSIA credential act ethically when interacting with customers.For this reason, each CSIA credential holder must agree to and sign the Code of Ethics.

Use a sweep certified by the Chimney Safety Institue of America to know that you're getting the best service available in the industry. Our Wood-burning stove and the ambiance of a fire is the central point of our greatroom, but we had serious damage from a tornado that ripped off our chimney cap, tore up some internal piping, and dropped a lot of water on our wood-burning stove (giving opportunity to start some rust and screw up electrical connections). David at Crestwood Home & Hearth was immediately responsive, coming a few hour after the tornado and covering the destroyed areas to prevent future damage. He provided options for solving the issues based on our needs, and gave some suggestions that should have been made by our

I had another highly rated fireplace company come out was told the parts were no longer available and we would have to buy a new insert. The owner from Crestwood Home and Hearth put a new switch on and he said all the parts to the fireplace are still available on the market! Checked all 3 fireplaces and installed remotes on 2 of them. Extremely reasonable, efficient and so polite and nice.

David and Jack did a wonderful job on our new home. Turns out the chimney did not need to be swept, but there were potential sealing issues and small preventative repairs that will help us tenfold down the road and when we are ready to sell. Very much appreciated how easy it was to communicate, schedule, and have them in our home. Our home is a zoo with a new puppy, our overly friendly cat, and a tiny human- but they didn’t miss a beat! It was like having old friends over who just so happened to be able to make us feel safer in our new home and take care of some things that would have cost us

David was amazing. He was professional and did outstanding work. He was the only fireplace person that was on time. This is a big deal to me and everytime he said he would be there he was. I never had to wait on him. Outside of that the work he did was outstanding he completely transformed a old worn out non-working fireplace to brand new looking working fireplace. His quote was a great price and the final bill was cheaper than his quote. He is completely honest and I am happy I found a fireplace guy for all my future projects.
