Dr. Griffin is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the Western Pennsylvania Dental Society. In the past, Dr. Griffin has served as the President for the Allegheny-Kiski Dental Society, the dental alumni board for the University of Pittsburgh, and has been a member of the Seattle Study Club for the past 10 years.

Your first visit to the doctor typically includes an x-ray that allows the doctor to view the structure of the jaw, the position of any teeth that have not yet erupted, malformed roots, and tooth decay. The initial visit also involves getting your medical history. When you share your medical history with the doctor, be sure to provide complete, up-to-date information on your health.
The cost of treatment depends on the severity of the patient's problem. You will be able to discuss fees and payment options before treatment begins. We have payment plans to suit different budgets. We also accept assignment from most insurance plans, and file the necessary papers to the insurance company.
Regular checkups include a thorough cleaning, polishing, and an oral exam by the doctor. During the oral exam, the doctor checks the health of your mouth, teeth, gums, cheeks, and tongue. At each visit, the doctor also checks old fillings and restorations because constant pressure from chewing, grinding, or clenching can cause them to wear away, chip, or crack.

Dr. Terry Griffin IS THE BEST! I have had many issues with my teeth since childhood, then having moved around a lot in the military, I have had many dentists work on my teeth throughout the years. I dreaded going to the dentist more than any other doctor's visit. Then I found Dr. Griffin! My only regret with Dr. Griffin is that I did not find him sooner when I first moved to Oakmont. Every time he has completed work on my teeth I am astonished at how fast and painless each experience is. I always remark, "You're the best" but not out of anything but sheer astonishment following the procedure. What
