Eyeland Vision

I had an appointment with Dr. Phan today and was really happy with my experience.

The facility was extremely clean and there were employees walking around disinfecting. Reception desk employees were really nice, confirmed my information, and explained my insurance coverage and fees that would be due after my exam.

I was brought back by a tech and had a few images taken and tests performed. It was really quick and painless.

Dr. Phan came in and she was awesome. She's very personable and took the time to make sure I understood everything she was doing. We ran through all of the usual tests

Staff was very professional and kind. The Doctor encourage questions and was very thorough in answering. I like that her answers opened up discussion for further inquiry. I left understanding more than I anticipated to discover about the overall health of my eyes. Overall, the experience from the staff and Doctor exceeded my expectations.

We were unsure of what sunglasses to select, Wendy and Christy were great and walking us through the process. They explained the product in great detail. Wendy's knowledge of selecting the right product for our son put us at ease knowing he was in good hands. We felt confident we picked the right product and will continue to come back for the awesome service. Just like leap year gives that extra day in February, Wendy gives you that extra help you need. Christy is there to complete the dynamic duo. Thanks again!

I have been with Dr. Nguyen for years. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Holt and then yesterday I had an eye appointment and had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Phan. Eyeland Vision will receive a 5 star from me because of the professionalism, the staff has always been helpful. The environment is always so positive, which to me means the staff is not only taking care of BUT respected. I will never leave Eyeland Vision. Dr. Holt is very patient, explains every thing in detail even gives advise on things which are not in his job. Everyone is very patient and nice take their time to explains things. I felt like the doctor and the staff were very kind and receptive to my needs. I feel they have up to date technology that gives an accurate assessment of eye health. I only gave it a 4 star due to the overall cost of the frames, and lenses. A lot of companies include a 1 year without a deposit, they do not.

I went to Eyeland Vision for the first time and absolutely loved this place. I’ve never had such a thorough eye exam. The optometrist explained exactly what she was looking for in each image of my eye. She saw some problem areas with my scans and discussed it thoroughly with me! Super nice doctor and staff!

I have been a patient at numerous different vision care centers.... never before have I experienced such friendliness, efficiency and professionalism all wrapped in one package. From the front reception area to the initial back room preparation then meeting with the Dr. and lastly the lens selection area never have I received such an awesome customer service experience. The last part of my visit was checking out with payment arrangements. Even that part of my experience was amazing. GREAT TEAM.

I found a hidden treasure in northeast El Paso. I had the best experience from beginning to end at Eyeland Vision. The intake person was patient and kind, the Dr. was very knowledgeable and personable. She took the time to explain everything and I have never experienced a more caring eye doctor. Then finally when choosing my eyeglasses, she listened to me and brought me about eight lenses that she recommended based on what I wanted. Do yourself a favor and for your next eye visit - Eyeland Vision - you will thank me later.

Very nice optometry practice! Name brand frames. Staff is very knowledgeable and very friendly. Posh setting. Top of the line equipment. Have yet to order spectacles, update to follow.

Horrible I have a real good vision insurance ended still paying $280 out of pocket there's a lot of charges that at the time of billing pop up! So my advise to you ask ask ask before you even do anything Make sure you are very well informed they are very shady don't get caught like I and many more people have gotten caught with! At the moment of paying I had to tell the lady that I didn't want nothing else my total kept increasing. Not only that but my medical insurance was hit with a claim as well. Was scared to go get my glasses that i would get more charges!! I don't know

Incredibly disappointed. Poor (and rude) customer service that doesn't hold themselves accountable with the information they give out. Went from $29/child to $150/child despite being very clear at the time of booking. Was told that the $29/pp fee could be waived for the first appointment, then the front desk stated it was mandatory when checking in. Was very clear with them in regards to our insurance at the time of booking and we were told that it was covered 100%. Walked into their office for an appointment with 3 kids and were told we owed $179 for each child. (Not to mention, their coverage

I went in for an annual exam which I do my anual exam every year. I have two insurances in which I understood they will only bill one insurance which Is crazy! I just wanted a new prescription so I went in and had my retinol imaging included which I nerve requested!!! And turns out they charged me $29 for that! I then waited for the doctor over 45 minutes and it wasn't crazy busy, he then came and to my surprise he was extremely nice and very helpful however things changed when I dealt with his assistant whom I explained I was not interested in getting eye glasses since I was considering doing

If I could give zero stars I would. Made an apt for my 6 year old and show up only to be blind sided by a $29 charge for some diabetes photo that you cannot opt out of. They will do it with or without your consent. Now my insurance fully covers eye exams, dilation and all but no insurance will cover this as it is unnessisaary, yet this place thinks it is mandatory. They are not upfront about this charge when you call to make an apt. Then because I question it I get told we are not the right fit for them. No kidding! I dont like being blindsided or scammed. If I could give them zero Stars I would. I had an appointment at 9am and waited an hour to be seen. But that's not the bad part. They quoted me $733 or just the lenses. All of their frames that they had to offer me we're a minimum of $200. This is a gross over price of their products, I would even go as far as to say criminal. I paid less than $300 for my last pair of glasses and they had stylish/faddish expensive frames for less than $300. I pray they never get an inexperienced customer who doesn't know the market value four lenses and frames and gets caught up into the ridiculous

I was extremely nervous about getting an official eye exam done. I've always had good vision but after working long hours staring at a computer screen, I noticed my vision was starting to deteriorate and needed to see an optometrist quickly. I did a quick google search and found one where you can make appointments online and they were able to see me the net day! How convenient!

Overpriced. I have vision insurance but this cost me twice what it cost at previous eyecare for same exact service. Staff is friendly enough, but they really push the upsell services.

The Doc was awesome. However, their eye glasses are over priced. Being quoted $933 for eyeglasses is crazy. When i told the sales woman i was only willing to spend no more than $400 she said we could reduce the price, but NEVER showed me any downgrades. The sales girl didn't seem to want to change what she showed me, and was taken a back when i told her no thank you. Then when I asked her to measure my Pupillary Distance she said well it depends on the type of frames. I know this to be false, and believe it was because I would not buy the over priced items. I went elsewhere and got measured

Terrible service. They threaten to bill you if you cancel with less than 24 hours but seem to have no problem cancelling on you 5 minutes before your appointment.

Don't go here. They quote one price and the bill is always has extra charges. They sold us a warranty and did honor it. Service is terrible.

Rip off. I was told the exam would cost $75 but I ended up paying $139. $100 for the exam and $39 for some screening I didn't ask for. The doctor was friendly, but I don't appreciate being lied to about the cost of the exams. If you come here, expect to pay more than what they tell you.

I do NOT recommend using this company. When you fill out the paperwork you have to be VERY carful. At the bottom of the form there are different exams and photos they show you. However, in fine print it says that it may or may not be covered by your insurance.
Apparently me telling them I only "want whatever my insurance covers" does not constitute opting out of the extra exams. As we are starting to check out I'm expecting to pay a $75 plus tax contact exam, but instead get stuck with a $146 bill. After asking why the bill was so high, I'm told it's because I "did

Wow don't ever go to this place they tell you your appointment is at one time and don't see you till 45 min later. Then they try and trick you to let them take a pic of your eye and charge you for it and when you don't want to they say you didn't decline the service but there nowhere on there paperwork to decline that unnecessary service. Then there eye glass sales team is a joke where again you wait for them to get off the phone in the back room then for them to throw a basket of ugly frames at you and say if you want something that looks better it will cost more. Aside from the clever name, the first thing that comes to mind when thinking of Eyeland Vision is "state of the art". They have machines galore, which they can use to look at your eyes in various ways and quickly get to the root of what might be causing your eye problems. In addition, appointments are quick, Drs. Holt and Nguyen are very good at explaining everything as they go, and the staff and Drs are incredibly friendly!
