Our standard 6-step lawn treatment program will keep your grass looking great year-round. The applications include a slow-release fertilizer, pre-emergent and post-emergent weed control, and insect control. Turf fertilization truly is a science. There is a long list of things that go behind the work, including climate conditions, current turf needs, weeds present, and how that all applies to what needs to be done.

1: Are they licensed with the state? Because of the nature of the service, there are several licenses and insurance requirements from the Louisiana Agriculture Department. At Matthews, we maintain all of our licenses and carry full insurance to protect you, the client. We are happy to email you a copy upon request!

Savannah and the whole crew at Matthews did an awesome job with our landscaping. They did a complete rip out and restart. Savannah was great about talking through everything with us and made our landscaping much better. We appreciated everything they did for us and look forward to using them to keep it looking nice year after year.

We had a problem with ants after cutting down some trees and called a different company to come out. They came 4 times and we still had ants. So we called Matthews and after one visit the ants are gone. The people are super nice here and I will definitely recommend them.

The services offered by Matthew's are abundant and practical. They were very prompt on responding to our needs and showed up when they said they would and were very helpful when deciding on some options to go with that would look the nicest for our yard. The work crew was very professional and completed our yard exactly how we wanted it to look. Matthew's is definitely a company to call to assist with your outside yard needs.

I hired Matthews Landscape to get all the weeds, grass, and ground cover vines out of my front beds and to trim my shrubs to about the same size. They also replace a sickly shrub and put down all new mulch. They did a great job and cleaned up and disposed of old mulch and trimmings extremely well. Their employees worked hard in the heat and humidity and did a great job. I am very pleased every time I walk past my flower beds or drive in my driveway and see the beds.
