Services
Our vision is to provide high quality medical care and an excellent patient experience at an affordable price. Statistics indicates about 1/3 of ER visits are "unnecessary" and "could have been provided in a cheaper setting"; and most patients experience long wait times while visiting ER. We at myDoc Urgent Care seek to eliminate these problems through expedited medical care and accessibility.
Urgent Care focuses on treating injuries or illnesses requiring immediate care, but are acute and non-life threatening. Due to its convenient nature and 7-day operating model, urgent care centers have gained popularity among healthcare consumers. Many conditions can be treated at an urgent care center, from common illnesses to minor injuries.
This location is not wheelchair accessible. If you are in need of ADA compliant location, please go to our 3717 Chestnut Street (University City) location. If further instructions are needed, please feel free to call our office. If you don't have health insurance, join our "Self-Insured Club": pay a monthly fee of $50, your urgent care visit will only cost $10 each time, unlimited.
Medical examinations and vaccinations in the United States are typically required for anyone who applies for lawful permanent resident status (Green Card). MyDoc offers immigration physical services for those seeking Green Cards, performed by a licensed Civil Surgeon designated by the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services.
Urgent Care centers are setup to assist patients with an illness or injury that does not appear to be life -threatening, but also can't wait until the next day, or for primary care doctor to see them. For the days and hours that primary care physicians are closed, or for someone who does not have a primary care physician, urgent care centers provide easy access to quality healthcare without the hassle of emergency room.

Scheduled a COVID-19 test online -- which was super convenient and had a ton of availabilities.
The door to the clinic is hard to locate, the staff are shorthanded so it took a long time for anyone to pick up the phone, and they never gave me an invoice to submit to my health insurance to cover the test.
The actual test was quickly delivered with a knowledgeable medical professional.
The rest of the clinic's management seems too chaotic. I will not be returning unless this is the only place available.

I made an appointment at this location for the sole purpose of a rapid Covid 19 test for travel only. If anyone is not aware Covid testing in the US is currently still free. They asked did I have insurance and I wanted to know why because insurance is not required for Covid testing. Once I presented my insurance card I was told there would be a $50 fee because their claim was that my insurer would view this as an urgent care visit which it was not. I saw no doctors just the Covid tester.Didn't have time to protest too much as I needed the test for overseas travel scheduled for 9/17. I paid the

I went to the urgent care located in Chestnut street Philadelphia because I live 8 minutes away. The guy who answered me was so nice. He allowed me to come in and he received me. The nurse and the physician assistant were also very helpful . I want to say thank you for your service. I will definitely come back !!!!

I would not recommend going to this urgent care at least at this location. I made my appointment ahead of time (at least 3 hours ahead), when I got there in a heavy rain (my pants and shoes got all wet), the front desk told me they don’t have any doctors today and ask me to come back tomorrow. They could have CALL AHEAD!!! Oh, btw, don’t try to get them through the phone, because the front desk is too busy to take phone calls!

Go to another urgent care! I went here for a covid test and it was the weirdest experience I've ever had. They test you outside, and the attendant had many errors in my documentation as they were getting information through the intercom. The attendant came out with no gloves, barely had a mask over their face, and was very unprofessional. They also administered the wrong test; I asked for a PCR test but they gave me a rapid test. I never got the results either. AVOID!!!

This place is trash. Honestly. Go somewhere else. Contacted them on a Sunday, desperately needing antibiotics. Due to a 'glitch in their system,' the prescription wasn't called in until days later, AFTER I called to tell them my general practitioner got me the necessary meds since Urgent Care didn't. I was still charged by Urgent Care. So what I actually paid for was simply for someone to confirm that yes, I'm sick. Which I already knew... My insurance company and I both attempted to contact them multiple times to dispute the charge due to my receiving nothing at all, and we were never contacted

I almost never write reviews because I don't particularly enjoy doing it. I've even put off writing this one for about a week and a half. But I had to come back and say that the experience I had here was hands down the best I've had all year. And that's saying a lot as I've had a complicated chronic illness for a long time and have a lot of doctor appointments.
I prefer to see my established doctors because of some of the more rare reactions I can get to medications. Unfortunately, I got an earache and none of my docs had an appointment open for the next three days. I figured by that time I might

I cam here to get my immunization record done for Drexel. The staff is really friendly. They're so understaffed, though. It was clear the staff's attention was being pulled in several different directions. Because of this, they made sloppy mistakes that cost me a lot of time and several trips. Again, they're really nice. They have the friendliest staff, but I recommend going somewhere else.

Everyone else was friendly. But the Asian lady was terribly rude and unprofessional. She talked to us as if we were bothering her and she had other things better to do. If you feel that way why are you working in an urgent care? You’re suppose to be compassionate and understanding of clients. I read the other reviews for this place and others have said similar about the same woman. Honestly find another job if you can’t be patient with others.

This establishment should not be allowed to call themselves a medical facility and provide any care to patients. I came here for a COVID test and the whole experience was a disaster. The receptionist was rude to every patient there. I had to wait 45 minutes for the test, with several other patients in the same room, when I had a scheduled appointment. I filled out a form with all my information such as height/weight, medical history, etc. When I received the test I got a form back with the results and all my personal information was wrong, including the height/weight and other personal information
