Most of my adult life has been devoted to cabinetry, woodworking and furniture restoration. I do simple or complicated fine interior finish work; design and build custom and reproduction cabinets, book shelves, doors, and more for new and antique homes - even antique cars. My methods of construction are based upon traditional master craftsman's techniques.
I can reproduce missing pieces or antique moldings. I restore doors, windows, and cabinets, or build items to match or blend with existing structures, artifacts or previous handiwork. My proposals for custom furniture include specific working drawings with final agreed on details of construction, materials and pricing.

I brought Arthur a couple of drawers with loose knobs that needed to be fixed as well as the top unit of an antique desk which needed door hinges reattached. Arthur did a fine job and finished the pieces promptly for what I considered to be a fair price. He does small jobs as well as bigger jobs such as custom pieces. I would highly recommend him!
