We provide dependable and courteous collection services to residents throughout the Aitkin, MN area. We offer three different cart sizes to fit your needs. This cart holds 8 or 9 bags of trash per week and is the recommended cart for households with 4 or more members. This cart holds 5 or 6 bags of trash per week and is the recommended cart for households with 3-4 members.

I stopped by with a trailer 6x15 with 12 inch sides
The load was shingles and wood
The material barely went 6 inches above the sides and first they tried to say 2.5 feet high.
They only went down to 2 feet high and between the 1/2 truck not very full and the trailer they said 6 yatds and charged me just under what it would have cost for a 10 yard dump to be dropped off and picked up
They also showed very poor customer service.
Would not recommend them at all!!!!

When you make a decision to do business with a company, all you have is what they communicate...
We ordered a roll off, and chose GDC because their web site states that they take appliances and mattresses as part of their mixed load package. Because the cost of a mixed load is more than a construction load, logic would dictate the cost of the other acceptable items would be included in that cost. Further, we specifically asked three employees about appliances and mattresses in the mixed load during the course of ordering and setting up delivery, and each said it was

While picking up a dumpster, the truck left ruts 60 feet long in my yard. When I called the company the manager David told me he would talk to the driver to find out what happened. He called me back and said he didn't talk to the driver but the "staff" in the office told him the truck got stuck. He said it rains a lot and that Aitkin is a swamp, what is he supposed to do. After a 4 minute conversation he hung up on me. After waiting for an email response from their customer service department I have heard nothing from Garrison Disposal. They do not take responsibility for their actions. Here are

Received a letter today from David MacArthur , Garrison Disposal. It stated that as of immediately , the service would discontinued...he was very sorry for any inconvenience, however after several years of service he decided our area in Aitkin county was not 'profitable' . No mention about a final pick up nor any mention about if there was a refund expected for the paid for months of August and September.
New customers, beware! I thought small towns were kinder and easier to deal with...I was wrong...left in the lurch by the garbage man. No less!

After several years of using this service , we received a letter in the mail today . It stated that service was being discontinued immediately.
Reason stated was that there was no money in servicing rural lake communities.
No mention of what we should do about the garbage waiting for Monday pickup. PLUS.
We are paid through September 2017.
Sound illegal to me!
