I cannot sing enough praise for Dr Pumphrey and the entire team at ACAP. I had my gums grafted by him and the whole process exceeded my expectations in every way. From their attention and kindness in the first consultation, to the actual surgery to the post surgery care. Dr Pumphrey is a wizard for sure, his work is immaculate. Dr. Pumphrey stepped in when I had some complications from a procedure completed by another provider at a different practice. He did an AMAZING job of getting my situation corrected over a three month period with timely follow up and communication. Dr Brock Pumphrey and the staff at Midtown Center for Advanced Periodontics are fantastic. Dr Pumphrey performed gum grafting surgery before Christmas in 2018 and he and the staff educated me on the process surgical and recovery process, answered all my questions and followed up with me post surgery. I will be going back to them for all my Periodontics needs in the future!

Excellent care! They made me feel so comfortable and even let me pick my own music to listen to during the procedure. After we had the consult I wanted to go ahead and get the procedure done and they accommodated me right then and there. All of the post op instructions were accurate and no surprises based on everything they told me would happen. It was such an easy and painless process and something I was dreading! I would highly recommend and there now know why they have the 5 stars!

I've been to Dr. Shuster twice now for implants, in 2015 and 2017. Both times the medical results were fantastic. BUT Dr. Shuster appears to be retiring and I was surprised last week on my final follow-up visit to be seen by a new dentist and was further surprised to receive a substantial additional bill. (In both 2015 and 2017 I was told that the cost for the implant covered the routine follow-up visits.) So my impression of the practice is no longer as favorable as it once was.

I was referred to Dr. Shuster by Dr. Robert Brochstein. Dr, Shuster and his staff are very caring compassionate people. They always make your experience pleasant especially for dental surgery. They preformed a dental implant, I know you can go somewhere and pay $99 get an implant and an oil change in the same day, but come on where did the Dr. go to school?
Dr, Shuster will not tell you he's an educator, leader in the field and one of the top Periodontist in the Southeast. I couldn't tell the difference from the implant and my own teeth. Thanks to everyone for the help and have

Dr Shuster and staff are the ultimate professionals and just all around great people. My dentist is Dr Smith who is just down the hall and it's so convenient that they can consult with one another and make sure everything is done just right! I had crown lengthening done for my entire top gum line (8-10 teeth) and everything was impeccable. Dr Shuster even called me after the surgery (both times - I had a minor follow up surgery after main one - just to get everything extra perfect) to check on me and answer any questions. I had receding gums so my dentist referred me to Dr. Abe Shuster, an Atlanta periodontist. From what I've been told, Dr. Shuster is one of the top periodontists in the state, if not, the country. Originally from Montreal, he's been in Atlanta since 1979 and used to be the chairman of the periodontics department at Emory. In addition to his practice in Atlanta, he does work with the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Dr. Shuster has patients that fly in from other states, some even internationally, just because they like him that much.
