Big B's Fish Joint

I absolutely love this place. I just got into town & wanted seafood so bad but I came upon this place on Google & myself along with my family was more than pleased. The food taste amazing, drinks were on the spot, the atmosphere was nice & chill, everyone enjoying dinner not being loud & the staff were very professional. I look forward to coming here again. We need a New York location !!!

We went on a saturday evening and found some empty tables and thought we will give it a try. Our order considered of shrimp and grits, fish tacos, clam chowder soup. We liked the wild caught fish and healthy selection of dishes including free range chicken. The prepared dishes were a hit and miss. My wife's shrimp tacos were very sour, and they had to replace the order 2 times before getting it right, clam chowder and shrimp & grits were clear 4 stars. Fish tacos were reasonable. They billed us twice for the same dish. Overall the experience is between 3 to 3.5 stars

My friend and I wanted to catch up over lunch today. We went to Big B’s Fish joint and had the best time.
Our waiter Erik was attentive and fun! The food is always spot on as I love their grilled cod fish tacos.
I’ll be back again as it’s one of my new favorite restaurants in Sandy Springs!

We love Big B’s! My sister and us come all the time for lunch. The Margarita are so good. If you can go during happy hour do that! Super kind staff and the older manager guy is so sweet. Anyways can’t say enough good stuff about them. 11/10 spot.

I don't like giving negative reviews. However, this restaurant had underwhelming food, and had very poor service with the host. Never had such a bad experience at a restaurant. The waitress was kind, but she wasn't as knowledgeable about the menu. The fish tacos were not good and much smaller than I expected, basically no fish. I was hoping for a great experience, given the high reviews, so it was a surprise to me. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this restaurant. Others might have a better experience, maybe I just caught them on a bad day.

Big B's is amazing. Love the staff, the crowd and the menu. Always inviting and friendly. The owner is a nice guy too!

I have always wanted to try this place. When given the opportunity to pick I said we're going here! I was not disappointed! Great service and great food. I ordered the trout dip. Very good. Would have rather had it on pita, the toast was a little too hard. Another appetizer was the shrimp in chili Thai sauce. I am allergic to shellfish (yeah I know!) So my daughter ate that and she loved it.

Craving for some oysters, I happened to land on Big B's Fish Joint. And honestly? The happy hour from 4-7 with $1 oysters? Sign me up!

We came here and got a dozen oysters each. Even though this won't be your most detailed of oysters, it was pretty awesome. Just the sheer amount of oysters you can eat and for the price I thought it was a great deal. Oyster aside, we also ordered entrees. I ordered a lobster roll, and it was just okay for me. I think that I could have other options that could have been a little better, but after me ordering the lobster roll the waiter complimented me

After taking our pup for a stroll around Chastain, my husband and I were on the hunt for a place we could grab a late lunch with our dog in tow.

After a little yelp-ing we decided on Big B's and we're so glad we did! They were incredibly kind and gracious about letting us sit on the outdoor patio with our pup, and even brought her a fresh bowl of water right after we were seated!

Both the indoor and outdoor areas were very clean and parking was easy - with lots of space to park around the plaza.

Truly a gem I've been missing out on. Scrolling through the recommendations of Yelp and Google Maps I was able to find this jewel amongst the the rest. Big B's Fish Joint satisfied a craving for great fried seafood that I couldn't find for a long time in Atl. My wife agrees as well.
Lcoated in a bustling area of Roswell, there's a lot of other places that hides Big B's from view. But the best part of that is that there is plenty of parking within the plaza. Which is always an added plus in my book.

Good deal on Raw oysters during the happy hour 4pm-7pm. Some oysters were very fresh but we had some that were not so fresh. So it was a little disappointing.

I had a craving for seafood but I didn't want a crab boil or anything fried. This was an AWESOME decision! The decor is bright and they offer outdoor seating. The food is very fresh and VERY tasty. The staff is attentive. You can order ahead and park right in front for curbside pickup. My scallops were perfectly prepared, not rubbery at all. The catfish I ordered during an earlier visit didn't lose anything in its to go packaging. I think I'm going to make this my "I'm craving seafood" place!

Great experience. Fresh fish, $1 happy hour oysters, and great service. The dog friendly patio allowed us to thoroughly enjoy our meal with the entire family.

The oysters were fabulous along with the calamari. The service left much to desire. Dean walked about in a hurry before my husband and I were finished ordering about three times. The scalloped pasta was good. The clam chowder lacked flavor along with the BLT wedge salad.

Its pricey. The people were friendly though. The food quality isn't anything special, and they dont serve any unique dishes. The fried fish sandwich I had was rather bland as though they didn't season it before frying. My friend had the fish tacos, which were about the size of your typical food truck style taco (barely bigger than your hand). But they were being priced at 13 dollars for two tacos and 5 dollars for each additional taco. So I think the price really only pays for the aesthetic. I was looking for a place to have a quick brunch or lunch before my next appointment on a late Wednesday afternoon. I discovered Big B's Fish Joint on Yelp. We came here for dinner and stumbled upon their $1 oyster happy hour. It happens every day except Monday, 4-7pm. During happy hour, they also offer $5 appetizers (hush puppies, shrimp 'n grit fritters, fried pickles) and $5 drinks (wine, beer, margarita). We had a great experience and I left happy and full.
