In mid-life, people's normal hormone levels decline and can cause uncomfortable symptoms. Hormone replacement therapy is one treatment option that patients can choose in consultation with their doctor.
A compounding pharmacy can help with this kind of therapy by creating prescription hormones that are structurally identical to natural hormones, that are at the lowest possible dose, and that are in the particular dosage form that best suits an individual patient's needs. At Gateway Medical Pharmacy, we make high-quality, customized prescription hormones.

An anal fissure is a small tear in the tissue that lines the anus. This may occur for a number of reasons including but not limited to passing hard or large stools, chronic diarrhea, or a complication of Crohn's disease1. Anal fissures can cause a cycle of inflammation, pain, and spasm.
To help aid in the treatment of this condition we offer the following compounded medications: diltiazem, nifedipine, and nitroglycerin ointments, creams, or gels2.Diltiazem and nifedipine belong to a class of medications called calcium channel blockers and help to reduce the pressure at the site of the fissure to improve healing while nitroglycerin dilates blood vessels and increases blood flow to promote healing2.

I have a similar story to a lot of these other reviews- I needed a prescription compounded because it was for my cat, which meant I had to find a compounding pharmacy for the first time. I picked gateway just because it was closest, but I was so pleasantly surprised by my experience there. The staff was very friendly and offered me their best wishes for my cat, which meant a lot. They got the prescription made for me the same day and I was not left waiting very long at all. Even though it's a bit out of my way, I think I'll start filling my regular prescriptions here too instead of

I don't have a lot of experience with pharmacies, and the few times Ive needed one in my life Ive just gone to a convenient chain store. Yesterday, I found myself needing something more complicated than usual (a compounded drug and I had no idea what that meant or the difficulty in sourcing it after lunch on a Friday) and had to call around to find help. Working my way down a list of annoyed and harried sounding people, I wound up talking to Miranda who was super helpful and ready to work with me. When I walked it the pharmacy door 15 minutes later, she knew who I was and had been doing research

I will drive out of my way to go to this Pharmacy. The staff here is so helpful! They are actually friendly which surprised me cause I've been to way too many pharmacy with rude, standoffish or cold staff. It's a small location and they make sure they keep you informed about your prescription. I'm happy I found Gateway pharmacy.

I have been coming to this pharmacy since they opened.
Since the remodel, the service has become nonexistent. When they first opened, I was very excited to give my money to a local business instead of Fred Meyers next door. The last few times I have been there they miss prescriptions, often not filling them until I walk in even though they had been called in hours before. Also they just seem generally unpleasant, not the friendly atmosphere it was in the past. After today i will never be back.
I took my wife to the urgent care as soon as they opened 7am, she was on day 4 of a migraine. The

Definitely the best service I have ever received. I love that this is a locally owned business and the owner, Mary, actually works there (a face to the business)
Here is an example of why I enjoy using Gateway Medical Pharmacy.
I had to have a new rx sent there because it was one of the few pharmacies that my doctor would use to fill compounded medications. I had filled 3 months supply of the medication and all was paid for out of pocket because it is not covered through insurance. Due to me needing to adjust my dose, I ended up with 60 pills that I couldn't use. Mary was so understanding

Gateway gave me the best pharmacy experience I've ever had, bar none. Their staff is incredibly efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. They always pick up the phone right away when I call and be sure to respond quickly if I have to leave a message. They also do a great job getting you your prescriptions right away, like same day or the next morning. Ever since I moved away I've been looking for a similar place that will give me that fast service with all the options but that still has the quality and friendliness of Gateway. I have yet to find a place that even comes close. If you&apos

Usually wouldn't write a review for a pharmacy but this place is awesome. Even though they're not a huge chain pharmacy, paying online and ordering refills are as easy if not easier here than CVS. They're also extremely knowledgable about the products and and I feel I can really trust the advice I'm being given.
Gateway offers the convenience and options of a big name chain with the friendly faces of a local business. Everyone who works here is so friendly I love stopping in for a cup of coffee (oh yeah, did I mention theres a coffee shop inside!) just to say hi. My pharmacist

What a shame we lost Rich and Kim in this pharmacy. They sold the business. The new managemet is horrible. Kim and Rich always went out of their way to help. These people are very unwilling to help out. I asked for an Rx refill, that they say needs 3 days to make, I asked at 9:00am on a Tues if it could possibly be ready on Thursday late day and was told in a very rude tone NO! So now on a Friday about 1:00 pm I call to see if my Rx is ready and am told not until after 4:00. I live an hour from this place and work 15 mins away. Needless to say an extra two hours added to my drive today. When Rich
