Our owner, Joannie Ham, is a Floral and Event Artisan. She has been creating special memories for Weddings, Large Corporate Events, Inaugurations, and Private Parties for 26 years. Her Floral Designs range from traditional and classic style to edgy and eclectic "one of a kind" Floral Art. Joannie's philosophy is to work closely with our client and host to best represent the culture and vision they have for the event experience they are creating.

I ordered a sympathy bouquet late in the afternoon via telephone from Washington for a friend who had just lost a son. We chatted about him as I battled back tears. I asked the young lady to make something pretty with light colored flowers and delivery tomorrow was ok, since it was fairly late in the day. Within a couple hours my friend was on the phone thanking me for the" most beautiful arrangement she had ever gotten with flowers she had not seen before". It had cheered her up so much! Thank you--thank you

I was fortunate enough to how found La Mesa Floral Design in November 2019. I was searching for flowers for a dear friends memorial service. That was my first wonderful experience. I started telling all my friends and found out they had already discovered this amazing establishment. It has been and will continue to be the florist creating all our floral needs. Top notch service every time. I always get VIP service from the whole crew over there. from ordering to delivery. They always make your order a priority. Even On a Friday at 4pm. My order was delivered by 5:30pm. Joanie you are the best! I love this place! Only flower shop I will use. I highly recommend!

I ordered a modern arrangement. I was told a picture would be sent before delivery, but it wasn't. When my sister sent me a photo of the flowers, it was not what I had in mind. The florist offerred to resend another arrangement, and it was beatiful! They do want their customers to be satisfied. Thanks so much!

Ordered online because one of their arrangement options was perfect for what we needed. Follow up/through was prompt and professional! They even sent a photo of the finished design, which was lovely. Recipient was very pleased with the flowers. We order a lot of flowers and can confidently say from customer service, to product, to pricing, they are doing it right! I had been looking for the perfect flower shop to order a bouquet of flowers for my sister’s birthday. After looking and looking, a florist in the Mission Gorge area recommended La Mesa Floral Design Shoppe to me and told me this shop would be very close to the style I am looking for.
