Nu Pipe
Nu Pipe is a fully licensed and insured plumbing company specializing in sewer and drain solutions. We are known for our ability to permanently repair sewer and drain lines using cured-in-place pipe lining, trenchless / no dig solutions as well as point repairs (aka sewer patches). This saves our customers time and the aggravation associated with excavation and digging.

Experience Level: With decades of collective experience, Nu Pipe technicians are skilled in diagnosing and repairing plumbing problems, no matter how complex. Customer Orientation: Nu Pipe employees are uniquely trained to offer you the highest level of customer satisfaction. Our goal is to meet or exceed your expectations at every turn.
Services
Nu Pipe offers sewer cleaning, pipe lining technologies and trenchless sewer repair services to customers throughout Southeast Michigan. We provide a FREE camera inspection to properly diagnose the problem, hydrojet cleaning, which is much more effective and permanent than snaking, and if a repair is needed, we offer minimally invasive trenchless technologies.
Located in Pontiac, Michigan, Nu Pipe offers the latest, least destructive repair technologies for sewers, drain pipes and conduits in the Detroit metropolitan area. We serve customers in Oakland, Macomb, and Wayne counties. Our customers hire us because of our expertise and skill in sewer repair and sewer lining (CIPP).
Nu Pipe specializes in trenchless exit pipe repair solutions utilizing modern technologies like sewer patch /point repairs or cured in place (CIPP) pipe liners, installed via air inversion or pull-in-place methods. Our trenchless solutions offer a permanent, less invasive repair of all or part of your sewer or drain pipes.
CIPP has been used in Europe for decades and is now used in the States on our aging infrastructure. There are two methods we use to install CIPP - Air Inversion and Pull-In-Place. The materials are the same in both application, but the installation is vastly different. Does your sewer back up? Have you been informed you have cracks or roots in your sewer line?
Nu Pipe specializes in no dig, trenchless solutions to address a variety of sewer and drain pipe issues. Air inversion is a trenchless method of installing a cured-in-place pipe liner to repair a damaged sewer or drain pipe. Air inversion requires only one access point to install the pipe lining, which makes lateral CIPP pipe relining fast and easy.

NuPipe put in a brand new sewer line and within 18months my basement flooded and a plumber had to come and release the clogged line. I called and texted owner several times to fix the line and its as if I never existed. He has completely ghosted me. I sent several clients to him and feel terrible about it. If I had known he didn't stand by his work, which is very costly, I would have NEVER given out his name. Run from Nupipe, they do not do good work nor do they stand by they work.

Nu Pipe helped us line an ageing cast iron pipe that had cracked at our house. The location of the pipe made it hard to replace conventionally but they were able to line it with fiberglass and replace some of it that was in the house.
We had some minor hiccups with the process but they took care of them promptly and were very willing to work with us.
Later we had a backed up septic line and we didn't know what was causing it so we called them back. They came out really fast and brought their camera equipment. Turned out it was a child using way too much toilet paper. NuPipe was able to clear

This was my first experience with this company and they were very professional and respectful. As a realtor, we work with tight deadlines I need responsive companies and ones that I can count on to get the job done. Dave and his crew did just that and my sellers were happy with the job done. Thanks Dave and crew!

Dishonesty is this companies policy! Using NUPIPE to do your work is only putting your pocket book and home in danger. Do not hire this company to do any work for you. They lie, cheat and steal their way through life and then deny it when confronted,. The worst kinds of people you could do business with.

I have hired Nu Pipe for several projects and Dave and his team have always done excellent work, including fixing a pipe issue that had gone on for years - no other company was able to figure out how to properly fix it and Dave and his team fixed the issue in a day and we haven't had a problem with the pipe since!

I can't thank these guys enough. We have a sewer pipe liner that the previous owner of our house did not disclose and it was delaminating. Our regular plumber had not encountered this type of issue before so we called Nu Pipe. The woman who answered the phone knew exactly what I was talking about and arranged for a team to come out and fix the issue. Three days later a great team came in and removed the sagging liner in about an hour, free of charge! We didn't even purchase the liner originally but they still fixed our clog. Thanks Nu Pipe!

I had an appointment set up with Dave the owner ( we met on site) to camera a line. The day of the job he was a no show.... no return txt messages or phone calls. It's now a week later and neither Amy in the office ( who never answers the phone ) or Dave have returned a dozen calls and multiple txt messages.

Ok repairs are complete, that is the good news, the estimate was the same as the final bill, (reason for the second star) but the scope of work was significantly greater than anticipated. They came out to estimate ran a camera and locator and guaranteed me they would not have to dig through my foundation to repair the line, well that was not the case, they ended up having to remove some blocks from my foundation wall and tunnel under my home, I will be cleaning the sand for months (and was the main reason I wanted to go with trenchless sewer repair), they also did not reset my toilet correctly

This review is for all of the homeowners out there looking for contractors who are passionate about their work, and provide service with integrity at a fair price. Sound like a tall order? I'm sure anyone who owns a home is ALWAYS looking for these qualities, and most of the time we have to be happy with finding someone who has only one of these traits: Either integrity, skilled work or a fair price. It's pretty rare to find the trifecta. Yet, Nu Pipe plumbing has ALL of these qualities... specifically the owner, David Marsh. Though he managed a great team as well.

I'll summarize

I can only write this review based on my encounters with this company and things they have done for my roommate. My roommate will be using them for some plumbing work in the house (future) and I suspect it will be excellent work, but will update with my opinions post-work.

The reason I am writing this review early is because I feel a company like this needs some online love. They don't seem to have a lot of reviews online and though reviews don't matter much because anyone can write them, I do feel the general public can decipher who is a solid company and who is not, by a good review

The woman who answers the phone is an angry and miserable person. As far as Nu Pipe goes I think it's basically the only game in town. So don't expect the industry norm, $30 to $250 per foot. I welcome competition.

My sewer has been giving me grief for years and when I finally decided to have it repaired, I was shocked at the cost to dig it up! Then to find that I would likely lose the tree in my front yard and have to replace all the grass and landscaping after the fact was more than I cared to take on. I did some research on the net and found Nu Pipe and other companies out there that do sewer lining. We took our time and got three quotes - Nu Pipe was the cheapest and David had the best understanding of the issues and showed me the root problem on the camera screen. They came out and installed a CIPP
