Apostolic Christian Home of Roanoke is a long-term care nursing home facility that offers independent living services to the elderly and infirm. We are also a charitable, not for profit entity, providing high-quality care to individuals from our local area. Our retirement community is located in Roanoke, Illinois, just 30 miles east of Peoria and 40 miles northwest of Bloomington.

The Roanoke Apostolic Christian Church purchased the skilled nursing facility in 1975. Our building is licensed for Medicare and Medicaid residents, and accepts residents from all denominations. The staff enjoys partnering with families to care for their loved one. Doctors, nurses, and families work as a team to provide loving, Christian care to those who live on our campus.
Services
The Apostolic Christian Home of Roanoke's skilled nursing facility is the highest level of care that we offer. The Home has 52 skilled private or semi-private beds available. Residents of the nursing facility have access to professional and qualified caregivers and nurses who assist in bathing, hairdressing, dining, toileting, therapy, assisting to scheduled activities, and much more.
Residents enjoy a maintenance-free lifestyle that gives them the time and freedom to spend each day exactly as they choose. And with access to a wide variety of social, educational and recreational activities, there are plenty of choices and opportunities for personal growth. Country View Independent Living apartments offer our residents maximum convenience and easy access to all of the services and amenities that make life here so special.
The units are quality-built homes providing an independent living choice to those over 55 years of age. All units have zero entry access, alert pull-cord system for immediate assistance, brick exterior and your choice of one or two bedrooms with or without a basement. Enjoy the peaceful serenity of living in the quiet little village of Roanoke.
Our Home in Roanoke strives to meet the spiritual needs of our residence on campus by offering several worship opportunities on a regular basis. We understand the importance and the desire our residents have to continue their Christian walk as they age, or maybe begin to explore spiritual topics for the first time.
Our warm and welcoming dining room, coupled with our accommodating dining staff, creates a one-of-a-kind experience perfect for friends and family. We offer a wide variety of hot and cold breakfast options along with a daily special, so you can choose exactly what you'd like to have. Each lunch and supper meal offers a choice of two different specials as well as many options of side dishes, salad bar, and drinks to include with your meal.

We so appreciate the staff and volunteers of the home who go above and beyond to care for so many elderly people, including my husband's parents. They are doing very well since going into the apartment in 2018. The home is also very clean!

SAD...They are so short staffed they could not possibly take care of the patients they have. Rooms are very tiny and confining.

My grandmother has been at this home for about two years and is receiving outstanding care. We visit her often and she has had a wonderful experience so far. Friendly staff and Christ-centered atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone!

Both of my parents and my father-in-law lived here for several years. It is a wonderful intimate home like place. The people and very caring and my parents could not have had any better care. There is very little staff turnover and they each know the residents individually. It really is a family atmosphere. I lived nearby and was able to visit a lot but I never worried about them when I was unable to visit due to my an injury. I do volunteer work there whenever I can and if I ever require care when I grow older I look forward to being there.
